Back from Alaska. Not the trip I anticipated. Rained nearly every day. Didn't see any wildlife. Didn't see the Northern Lights. Got COVID on Monday and basically stayed in the room at our resort rest of the trip. Exactly 12 hours door to door traveling home yesterday. Will have to go back a different time.
Will update this thread tomorrow afternoon... will get the draft order determined tomorrow afternoon. We can start drafting after it's posted, noting that thejuice6 probably won't be able to pick until Monday.
This is really odd - we went to the Pacific Northwest for three weeks: Second day in, I'm not feeling well. Third day in, someone else had to drive my car as I was feeling worse. Day Four I went to the Emergency Room with every symptom of flu you could think of. Yep - I had COVID (again...3rd time for me). Didn't start feeling better until about Day Six or Seven. Also, one of the reasons for going in September - wanted to see wildlife before Winter and all of the hibernation set in. Covered an area of western Washington State, Oregon, Glacier National Park in Montana, as well as Western Alberta and all of southern British Columbia. Never saw one bear. Never saw one moose. We did see a few elk but they're just about everywhere out west. Anyway, thought I'd share...
