2026 BOWIS Tournament
Best Of What If Sports
Prove you are the best!

24-25/25-26 Draft

Rules:

1. No clones, rookies, or waiver wire.

2. Each user is responsible for drafting and managing a team that remains in compliance with the league rules.

3. 7 exclusive drafted players, plus 5 non-exclusive undrafted players. The 5 non-exclusive undrafted players may be any eligible player not selected in the draft. Each user must use their drafted players.

4. All 24-25 and 25-26 players are eligible. Drafting a player gives that user exclusive rights to either season of the player.

5. Draft Sequence: ABBBBB. 1 pick rounds 1-5 and 2 picks in round 6.

6. Draft order: Draft lottery will use the New York Lottery. Each user will be given a time slot. The first three numbers drawn during that time slot will be your score. Lowest score will be number 1 and so on. Ties will be broken by whoever has the lowest 4th number.

7. A posted pick is FINAL. No changing picks after a selection is posted. If an ineligible selection is made, the draft will continue on and the user who made the selection will have to make another pick. Other users do not have to wait for the makeup pick to be made.

8. During the draft, site mail the next 2 users on the schedule after making your pick, or state that you cannot site mail and somebody will take care of it.

9. Draft will be on the clock. 24 hour rule in place.

10. Trades are allowed, but only for entire draft slots, not individual picks.

11. Divisions: Divisions will not be random. Divisions will be assigned based on the chart Sephy13 created at the start of the BOWIS year.

12. During the draft, please refrain from mentioning undrafted players.

13. No tanking playoff games. All "best players" must play at least half of their min/82 in every playoff game. Exceptions to be made for foul trouble or common sense reasons. Penalties will include an automatic forfeit of the next game.

14. The "Commissioner" may take control of any team refusing to comply with the ODL league rules. A warning will be issued in the league forum and a sitemail, after which the user has 3 games to comply. All games in violation are 'losses'.

15. Commissioner: benhoidal

Hey guys, I'll be on vacation during the draft lottery, but I don't want to push things too far back since we will already be pushing into the new year.

If someone could tally up the results on that Sunday and sitemail who ever is up first that would be great. I will do my best to be on top of it.

I will be back from vacation on the 23rd and will be back to my prompt self as soon as I can.

Just a reminder, draft is ABBBBB this year

I don’t think another lottery on Wednesday is needed. Why can’t we just use this list as Ben originally posted and figure out what the lottery results should have been based on this order rather than the wrong one that got sent out in error?

so Raggedclaws would have been in the 8pm slot Isn’t that how it should have worked anyway?

I think you are right that we should still use the lottery results from Sunday, but the list should be the same as in the other 25-26 leagues. I’ll grab it in a bit when I have more time. Pretty sure I’m the 8:00 slot, but I don’t remember the rest.

Here are the correct times. I’ll need someone to compute the numbers from last night’s lottery. Currently on a train without my laptop. I’ll get the draft set up later today.
