I’m glad my teams are turning things around but it’s maddening when your teams evenly rotate wins. At this rate I’ll end up in the cage with 0 playoff teams.

shades of last year where i went from 4th to 36th. 3 1-5s, 6 2-4's this cycle, i just dont get the yearly fade that happens where theres no change i can make that matters. I can go from a schwarze list of most consistent teams thru 4 cycles to losing to every last place team with cooked pitching staffs as we near the end. maybe its just me. just kind of disappointing.

I feel your pain. My teams often do well for 1/2 to 2/3 of the season, then with no real fatigue, talent or lineup changes, they suddenly can't buy a win anymore.

Even the teams I had that were dominating have come back to earth and seen their division leads fading.

Collectively 88-104 in 1-run games now and every team is below their expected winning %. It’s a miracle I’m still Top 30 at this point. It’s pathetic.

No such luck here. 0-6 with 4 1-run losses and a pair of 2-run losses. Only have stamina issues with one team but have been dropping like a rock throughout “Season 5,” with 1-5 being a standard occurrence. After being nearly 30 games over .500 collectively since the end of Season 1, I’ve now fallen below .500.

Really disappointed and frustrated after being top 5 and top 10 for so long. I can’t justify spending time on this any longer, given where I am in the standings now. What a waste.

My Greinke was 16-4 in the $100M league and we'd won 24 of his 29 starts. Since then, he's 0-5 and we've lost his last 6 starts.

Just more bad luck, I guess

However, over my last 8 cycles, I've had six 3-3's and two 2-4's. And despite 22% of my cycles having either 5+ wins or 5+ losses, my last 21 cycles have been either 4-2, 3-3 or 2-4.

All of this is a long-winded way of demonstrating that I'm due for a Mauch.

Did you have an easy way of seeing those distributions?

Copy and paste the "entire schedule" from each team into excel, count the "w" in each row, and then =countif each of the 7 possible win totals. Took maybe 5 minutes.

In the 19th century league, Scott Stratton is batting .306/.351/.384 and Caruthers is batting .273/.371/.481. Strong performances each and they've been batting 3rd all season. However, my offense is only ranked 8th, which is disappointing. My ERA is ranked 16th, with those two guys comprising of 71% of the innings pitched. Expected win% is .505, even though my actual record is 61-79. I guess the "pitchers who can hit" gambit did not pay off.
