Obviously the game is malfunctioning.

Fun fact: In my 140m league, Speaker teams won every division. There were only 7 of them to begin with.

In my 70m league, every playoff team is from 1990 or earlier.

Closed the season with a mauch. A fitting end.

On the plus side, 3 of my 6 teams made the playoffs. Unfortunately, the other 3 teams were terrible.

Tell me about it! And my 106 win team lost 7 of last 8 and I wasn't even resting anyone. No momentum heading into play-offs.

I just missed hitting 90 wins in the 6th period, but I also rested players significantly across 4 of the 6 teams.

GL to all in the playoffs, and to everyone in round 2 (there's an 80+% chance I will not participate in round 2, so hopefully everyone on the bubble still fights for every last point.)

Complete collapse confirmed. Both bubble teams (with Exp win% > .600) missed the playoffs, including my $140 team - with the best exp win% in the entire league. How many times has that ever happened? In the sim or in real life (during the wildcard era)?

I can't wait until my 107-win Bonds team gets swept by the 85-win team in the best of 5 series. If I don't finish in the top 24, I will not be participating in round 2. I will not accept charity from a top 24 owner bowing out.

I will have no qualms about accepting such charity :P

I'm curious to know how many of the 20 Speaker teams made it to the playoffs.

5 Speakers made the playoffs in 6A. I thought before the season, and still think, that they were the obvious choice.

As my team name suggested, I didn’t even look at another option.

It's funny. I built a Speaker team within 10 minutes of getting the go ahead from redcped that I may have a spot.

It seemed obvious.

I then actually got in and spent days building and comparing other rosters. Eventually I went with one of the others. Still made the playoffs, but likely sacrificed some points.

The lesson: trust your gut!
