If he wasn't the latest in a line of injuries, I'd almost welcome Utley getting a couple weeks off - he more than any of the other main guys always seems to wear down by season's end, and he probably already has about 13 other nagging injuries he refuses to take rest time for.
This one's a sprained thumb, so it shouldn't be terribly sirius or time consuming.  Hopefully, given the AS break, he won't miss a ton of games.
Yeah - it doesn't bother me that it's the latest injury for him, just really bad timing with everyone else out.

Hopefully Howard has one of those couple week stretches where he carries the offense coming up in short order.

The only thing Howard has coming up in short order is a hamburger and fries.
