Your rating can definitely go down. I'm not sure if you can actually drop back a level, but I don't see why not.

I am guessing.  he really beats the **** out of MikeT and Mike is his stubborn self.  I believe people who Mike has been bashing for years enjoyed it thoroughly.

You and I are in total agreement on this.  Although I may also thumb down just regular unfunny posts if I find them to be displeasing in some other way.

I think the ratings are dominated by thumbage, and Dubbs is just being killed by that redstar post.

I really don't see how any of it could be based on x/postcount ratio, with x being thumbs up, favorites, or anything else.
