I feel good about my team but I think having a lot of 2nd-4th round talent (in a normal draft) won’t make up for not having a true superstar. Moncrief for $1 feels good though.

JR is the front runner so far imo, but I’m interested to see what Kam can pull off, he has full control right now.

I think there is some confusion to how the results in rd 2 and future work. we don't have $78 to spend, rather they are just used to help Midge order the lists. So getting moncrief at the bottom of your list in rd 1 is the same impact to your 2nd rd list as getting someone at the top of your 1st rd list. The numbers are not a money budget.

I will say that I was very surprised at how much talent was available.

my understanding is that w 5 picks left my best bet can only be a 5 (so I listed my guys 5-4-3-2-1) and so Kam has a 12, no one else can spend a 12 at this point so that's the sweetener of getting shut out in the first round

I got all that, was just using shorthand for “the last player listed on my list,” where I think he’s a great value. If I wouldn’t have put him there and put someone else I got shut out on, my top pick in Rd 2 would be a “3,” where he’d be an even better value considering the round.

Its also the same impact as if I would’ve put him 12, technically, but would’ve also pushed everyone else down like Haliburton and Bam and might’ve cost me one of them, so I think him being at the bottom is still a benefit vs if I got him at the top. Ripple effect.
