Just to be clear, players are exclusive, correct? So only one of 63 or 64 Koufax can be drafted, for example?

The division drafts will be serpentine (1-4, 4-1, 1-4) and the six captains will draft last in round 1. When a player is drafted, he is off the board for that draft (the person drafting does not have to specify which season he is using).

So if there is an adjacent drafts (63/64 and say 65/66), then if you select Sandy Koufax in your 63/64 group he's still available in the other (as each draft is independent of what is occurring in the others).

Division alignment I'm guessing is:

NL East: jfranco77 (1924/1925)
NL Central: redcped (1963/1964)
NL West: ozomatli (1965/1966)

AL East: hebdomad (1968/1969)
AL Central: discodemo (1980/1981)
AL West: _JJP_ (1985/1986)

Right. Just wanted to reiterate/confirm that you can't have two versions of the same player within a single draft.

Wait what? I thought the divisions were based in the order that they were selected (i.e. _JJP_, hebdomad, and redcped in the NL)

If this is the case I may want to change my pick

Ah yeah I see it is chronological now. My mistake. I may change the final pick. Give me a few minutes.

Ok, no, I will keep 1965-66. Keep me away from those 80's teams.

I gave serious thought to 1971-72. I was sure they’d get taken. The pitching in 72 is very deep.

That was the grouping I considered switching to.

The p25 and p50 ERC# are basically identical to 65-66 (for relevant/quality pitchers), as are the p50 and p75 OPS#. Basically a coin flip. But in both my imaginary alignment scenario and the actual one, I felt the conference matchups would be better with 65-66.

That was high on my list too.

I listed the draft order for division selection on page 1. We can use this thread for the division draft. emanes10 is up first.

I thought about this for way too long, and I can't find any advantages drafting 3rd in a particular league, so I'm just gong to pull the trigger.

Give me pick 3 in 1968-1969
