I really don't see how any of it could be based on x/postcount ratio, with x being thumbs up, favorites, or anything else.

then explain how Im not a rookie with my 2 star post + other miscellaneous thumbs. Erff got rookie status before his post that I pimped up got more than 2 stars.

I think the system somehow knows you're taking your forum rating too siriusly and is just screwing with you.

That article would be a lie. Dom Brown is widely considered one of the top minor leaguers. Cosart and Singleton are skyrocketing into the top 25 of most lists. And we have a few others that are showing serious potential down the line.

The Phillies tend to draft athletes instead of baseball players. And if one in five pan out, that one can be pretty awesome. Or these guys that at least flash future ability can be leveraged for trades.

I think the Phils should just get the Mariners to do the Lee deal in reverse, and just consider it a loan while they were seeing if they could contend.  No harm no foul.

I read some article the other day that said the Phillies don't have the minor league talent to get Lee (for 2-3 months), and wondered how that was possible given that they just acquired talent for a full season of him. Maybe they aren't willing to part with enough of it, but that's not what the article said.

Aumont and Gillies both had more value when they traded for they than they do right now.

Ew. Why would you go there?

Gillies has been hurt. I'm not holding that against him. He apparently looked very good in Spring Training. And Aumont just needs some time. He's still young and just needs to be stuck permanently in either a role as SP or RP, instead of yanked back and forth.

Yeah, I'm not saying they've become worthless. Just that their value as prospects has slipped since they became Phillies.
