i am pretty good friends with the guy who is heading the trip up.  Him and his wife are going.  Another freind of mine and his wife and than 6 females.  They approached me and asked me to go and sold me on the fact that I would be the only sinlge guy.

I think Cheez should start a Phils discussion thread in MLB, we can move some/most of our Phils discussion over there, and maybe draw some more thumbs for some people. 

Then again, I'm lazy, so I'd still end up talking Phils in here exclusively after like a week, probably.

I'm pretty sure the only Phillies fans that post regularly on the site that you'd want to converse with post in Shtickless.

I am going through a church organization but it is a non religous trip.  the organization is run by a Jewish man and the school we are going to be working at has muslim, christian, and non religious children.

So you're leaving Manhattan, to go to Uganda for 2 weeks at the end of summer, so you can hang out with 6 women?

Ther trip itself sounds really cool, but that logic doesnt compute.

I think the drawbacks, such as the resulting brain damage from reading the posts from a couple of those guys, would outweigh the benefits.
