Yeah.  If they opt out it happens at rollover.

And you are one of the worst managers of talent I have ever seen in HBD.  Solid at acquiring talent, but your teams always underachieve and your players never peak properly and fall off too quickly.

Maybe moy's light training program made him realize he can get paid to just loaf off and not work?

I don't know those players, but remind me when the advanced budgets are set.

It's because the low training and medical budgets, mixed with the rapid promotions. Guys just don't get a change to improve much. It's a reason I'm always hesitant to trade for anyone from moy who has been in that system for two or more seasons.

Which really sucks for someone like you or rlahann who prefer trading for guys with enough seasons where you can base their skills off of a few seasons of progress.

Yeah...  if I ever were to trade for someone on moy's team, I would basically expect that their current ratings are what they are going to be long term...  even if they are 20 years old.

I'm kind of caught in no-man's land in HR.  Should have been so much better last season, or so I thought.  I think I stay the course for at least one more season, maybe add a big bat and a mid-rotation arm, and try to make a run.
