The average sane person does not realize that if Trumpler wins there is a probability that there will be a MAGA trifecta.
Right now I think that other then West Virginia changing hands that no senator race will flip. Some races will be razor thin but I think the status quo will be maintained in the Senate. So 50/50 in the senate. VP tiebreaker.

The House will be razor thin. I see the Dems picking up seats but not necessarily control. It will be very close one way or the other.
Thats how I predict it.

But if Harris wins I think it is a lock that after 2026 there will be a dem trifecta.

Most people even smart people are lazy thinkers. They cannot accept realities because sometimes they cannot ( it is too uncomfortable ) see the bad in certain people.

The laziness also keeps them from seeing the big picture - smart people.

But collectively it produces a dumb country.

We need to stop referring to anti-abortionists as "pro-life." THAT truly plays right into their hands. They are not "pro life"; they are antiabortion. The two terms should not be used interchangeably.

Generally speaking democrats sometimes call a MAGA policy fascist but the label comes from the perceived or expected consequence of the policy.

On the other hand, unfortunately Trump and MAGA call democrat policies and proposals communist in order to classify it and negatively define it without any comment or care about the benefits to come. Not a care in the world about that.

That is a big problem for the country.

And in terms of ignorance they do not know the difference between communism and democratic socialism.

When I mention democratic socialism I am not speaking about a political platform to be promoted or sought to replace capitalism. I am only speaking to some individual institutions that work better in that format like the postal service.

Tomorrow is the VP pick. From that there will be a new surge that will last at least 5 days solid and then a flat or slightly rising week leading into the convention on August 19. She will go into the convention no less then 3-4 points and come out 5-8 points.

During this time the man who is separated from morality will go crazy and dig a deeper hole.

And she heads into the convention 6 points up among the only group that matters - likely voters.
The poll is by ABC/Washington Post which is the highest rated polling company.

I dedicated a post to the best looking candidate usually wins. Actually always wins in the presidential. From Kennedy on it has never failed to be the case. Trump must accept that premise and is worried about it because now he is riffing that he is better looking then Kamala.

The pro terrorism protesters will be on full display tomorrow with their seething hatred of Israel ( which existed long before October 7 ) and their virulent hatred of Jews.

They are destructive selfish and moronic people bent on hurting Harris. Fortunately they will not be close to the convention. Maybe it will rain.

I don’t think my opinion falls into the left winger camp. Do you? This is not the only issue where I cannot be pigeon holed.

I support the Democratic Party but I also have my own objective opinions from issue to issue.

I also think that Russia is one of the top most despicable countries in the world - Iran North Korea Russia Syria and to a lesser extent China and I am 100% for Ukraine and I think that a defeat of Ukraine could have dire consequences and I think that any politician that opposes aid or won’t support all needed aid to Ukraine is despicable and is a low intelligent hateful moron.

One can only hope that one day Putin will suffer the same fate as Saddam Hussein and Mussolini.

I think that great music will be a big part of the DNC convention. It will be an enthusiastic entertaining event with rousing speeches.
