It's times like these I understand why I just lazy it up and settle for HBD mediocrity.  Today I've only been in talks with two reasonable owners that are doing or saying nothing the least bit annoying, and still the whole process gives me old-school VD-style tired-head.

Neither, Rebuilding from the ground up.  i am, however, open to using the cap space to pick up a high priced FA with some bonus money for prospects.

Heh.  Really?

I honestly think you just overthink things to the point that you make it impossible for you to make a move period.   Wrong or right.  Hence the mediocrity.

Just trust your instincts on whatever it is you are working on and you will probably be all right.  It's not that sirius.

I think both of those deals will combine pretty nicely for you.

If things operate as I expect in free agency, you will be in good shape.
