And I know the Phillies really like Herndon's potential so they have to keep him on the roster, but do they have to let him pitch so much?
I have a similar thought pretty much every time he comes in.  He was too good in the 10th for his own good.  Hindsight is 20/20, but you can't really blame Charlie for throwing him back out there in the 11th.

At least he is getting a ton of relevant experience.  Trial by fire, and whatnot.

I'm glad it looks like Madson is back, and hopefully Durbin isn't too far away. There's the whole Herndon thing, and also, I think Contreras needs to be used more sparingly.
