I don't believe Jesus was the son of God. He most likely existed , but son of God? Don't think so. I don't consider myself lifeless and lost.Of course I could be wrong. I have no problems with anyone's spiritual beliefs. My problem is when you tell me my spiritual beliefs are wrong, because they don't match up with yours.

If you are tired of trying to share the gospel with people who don't want to hear it...here's an idea. Stop trying!

Agree. There comes a time to let it go and leave the chips to fall where they may.

but re: Spiritual beliefs and 'being wrong' I only tell what the Bible says..

That said, this is not a place to push too hard.. in fact, there is no call for that. Gospel means good news.. and we are told to share it, but if the people reject it .. then it is time to quit.

So see? I am agreeing with you

Quit reposting his blah blah other than his talk to himself thread which I don't visit. I don't need to see it anywhere else. Nobody does. And no, I don't read it anyway. He's a waste of mine and everyone's time and this space, and it's not a matter of if but when he screws up enough again to get run. Again.

The unfortunate irony is you and I could've been brothers in arms with not only our luv of Christ which I know is shared by silent many, but also our willingness to say so and share publicly, mine maybe not so much hit them over the head with it. But on top of rubbing some the wrong way which is inevitable it happens to me also, you've additional also changed lately gospel sharing aside into more of simply a grumpy old dinosaur, doing more harm for the kingdom cause than good. It didn't have to be that way. I'm truly saddened that it has.

You speak for yourself.

No matter how much you express your enmity for me or proselytize to who tell you they have made up their mind I don't return your hate or need to tell people that they must believe as I do.
And I can do that through my own values and understanding which involves my personal
spiritual journey so to speak.
If you have so much anger and dislike for some people perhaps it is time to take some big steps to confront self-image.
Such anger comes from inner conflict regarding perceptions about one's own self.

If anyone else takes to heart your request to not talk to me, I say the same also to them.
And they deprive themselves from discussing issues of the day with people dedicated to truth and equality and progress.

Lastly, I believe that someone expressing so much unbalanced irrational and unjustified dislike or hate towards someone is practicing the extreme opposite of the tenants of Christianity and the teachings of Jesus as most Christians believe.

There is much of what Lostnfound says that I could not disagree more with but when it comes to practicing his religion on an individual interpersonal level, he is consistent, and he and I are on the same page.

Trying to figure who you are talking to, or about. If I seem grumpy, well it's because I am watching the greatest country in the world fall apart under a dictator.. and it is disturbing.. and imo is should disturb every thinking man in North America

As for the gospel, whenever it was preached in the first century.; many were offended. Nobody likes to be old they are sinners, but we all are .. by nature, just that. If not, then Christ died for nothing. Since then, nothing has changed. Same rhetoric, and the same kind of opposition. Same challenging' questions

The worst part is calling Canada "the greatest country in the world"

In Vancouver, you could always walk down almost any downtown street at night. Nobody hassles you.

Try that in Chicago, Seattle, or most US cities. In Detroit you be lucky to get from one end to the other alive..

Your Murder rates are almost TEN times as high as up here.. I said RATES.. and in places like St. Lou it is worse. Your sweet greatest country.

Nobody in Canada cared, or cares what color you are.. back in the 60's (we still don't), but in your sweet old US of A, blacks had to sit at the back of the bus, could not use the bathroom in many places, and they would be beaten without any pushback from your old boys legal boys. If you want a refresher, just take a look at what James Meredith went though in Little Rock (1957-8) when he was one of the first blacks to enter a university in your sweet old Bible belt Deep South.

He made it, though.. despite the racists, and half .. make that well over half the south was racist.. and this is in both Pol parties. Only thing the 'Bible Belt' doesn't have are committed Christians.. instead you have Westboro and that crowd

and YOU folks have the gall to call people racists.. Ok there is less of that now, maybe half as bad.. cuz the pre boomer generation is mostly dead and gone

I worked on one of the biggest construction projects in the nation, back in the mid 60's . It was formerly the Portage Mountain Dam, and Morris and Knudsen (Based in Boise Id) were the main contractors. All their supervisory staff were Americans.. and almost every one was a stinking racist.. One of them was at the Christmas party. This jerk went after a black guy with a butcher knife.. The would be victim escaped the danger...and this guy wasn't a bum, he was a Journeyman Electrician. The attacker? He was never charged and he kept his job.

I could go on and on.. but I think you see the idea. and Texas is almost as bad as Californication.. for crime

Life up here aint all that bad.. COLA is a lot higher, and that's a drag, but except for Couer d'Alene and a couple of spots, the US is almost uninhabitable.. and most of you own at least a .45 Colt, and an M=16 isn't hard to find down there either.. Probably has something to do with your increasing Murder rate. Another reason is that you do not value life as much as up here.. and it is near impossible to buy a handgun here, and an AK47? Forget it

Anyhow, here is an irony.. you express hatred for the only President I can remember who didn't send the US off to fight yet another war.. and I have been around since just after Nagasaki. That's the city that was hit Aug 9th, with the bomb with twice the punch as Fat Man

and you need to learn geography, cuz many of you would name ONTARIO as Canada's biggest city.. This happened on Jeopardy.. pretty bad. and fyi Ontario is a province, much like Texas is a state.

and the US could be a paradise, if it weren't for the soft on crime, punish the victim Democrats.. but hey, keep re electing them.. they have done such great things for you. (Can you name on good thing they've done since Jan last year??? ) Take your time

and just for the record, there ARE tons of good folks in the US.. thing is, you never hear about them
