Came flying out of the gate with a 31-17 start. Just took a Mauch (0-6) by leaving a collective 55 runners on base while scoring a combined 9 runs. SMH

Six sessions, zero over-500 sessions. 14-22 overall, 2-5 in 1-run games. '27 Ruth hitting .179/.233/.357 (2nd worst Ruth out of 40 in league)... My two great hitting pitchers (Stratton & Caruthers) a combined 1-for-13 batting... my best (and most expensive) hitter on '68-70 Orioles (F.Robinson) hitting .190 with .190 slugging%... My two best (and most expensive) hitters on my $80M 1901 Pirates, '10 Honus Wagner and '02 Fred Clarke hitting .167 and .160, respectively.

Things are going exactly as planned...

Quick update:

My teams have manages to claw back to .500, which includes three 7-4 teams and three 4-7 teams.

My '27 Ruth is now at .156/.283/.356... His .639 OPS is dead last among the twenty '27 Ruths in my league. Team is 4-7.

Stratton (.323 irl) and Caruthers (.334 irl) are both hitting exactly 2-for-14 (.143). Team is on a pace to finish the season 0-59 in 1-run games.

Frank Robinson (68-70 O's) & Honus Wagner (1901 Pirates) are finally starting to hit (which is why both of those teams are 7-4)

I started out 60+% through 8 games. Thought I was hot stuff. Then the slump hit. Now barely 50% and outside the cage. Streaky game.

Followed this up with a 5-1. Streaky indeed!

I didn't have much time to build my teams... Had to rebuild the 3 season franchise at the last minute bc I made errors & I lost my cleanup hitter and #1 starter bc I had players with 'combined' seasons in those spots. That team sucks.
Despite not having time to build multiple teams for each theme and choosing the best option, I still was playing to win... and to do that, I built 4 of the 6 teams on the stamina edge... Not having a lot of experience in lower cap leagues, I underestimated the amount of PAs I need in 4 leagues and IPs in at least 1..... This is going to be stressful to try to manage fatigue.

Yep, I am also seeing a bunch of hitting fatigue.

Unrelated, my '27 Ruth (100%) is batting .180 for the season and just went 0-4 in game where I scored 13 runs on 15 hits. His last out came against an overly fatigued Tommy Milone (<300K scrub). If '27 Ruth can't get a hit against a 10% fatigued scrub pitcher... then there's something wrong with him.

The good news is my $120M team is 8-7 despite getting a Dave Kingman like performance out of my $15+M stud hitter. Things can only improve from here, right?

My 27 Ruth is hitting .208; we are likewise 8-7.

Overall, my Ruth is at .180/.296/.459. His AVG, OBP and SLG are all ranked dead last out of twenty '27 Ruths in my league.

In the first game of Division play, my 2021 Walker Buehler threw a no hitter again another 2020-2022 dodger team.

in the final game of that series, my 2020 Kershaw tossed the 2nd no hitter of the series.

it was my 1st and 2nd no hitters thrown in the tourney.

That’s crazy. I can’t recall the last time I’ve had two no hitters in a single season, let alone a single series.

especially for a league this competitive… what a feat.
