I disagree with emanes10 on his comments regarding the draft.

What if there's a season that gets selected that has a clear cut Top 3 players then a big dropoff? Pick #7 decides to choose that division? Then pick #8 jumps in there too... Maybe picks #9, 10, 11 chooses a different division, but then pick #12 decides he wants that third stud player and jumps in as the fourth team. What if there is one season that isn't as good as the other five and 3 of the last 5 picks end up in that division? There's no way to know how things are going to shake out.

We're not making any changes to the themes now.

All good! The fact that teams can load up in one division to get better picks does make it more strategic.

Pumped, I honestly never saw your original Great 8 leagues but I see the basic idea is the same. We will share the credit.
However, I see your leagues were 120M. Most clone leagues we have been in have been at higher caps and tends to accumulate the same choices. We were looking to do something a little different here and go with a low cap and, hopefully, bring in some variety.

You're right, I forgot mine was 120M. At 80m it should make things interesting. I wish I could make it to round 2 but it's not going as expected and I'm too far behind at this point

They are different. Must be exactly the same in WIS.

For the $100M theme, for these categories:

A) played for the same franchise (any season)
B) played in the same season (any team)
G) wore the same uniform number

Do these apply for every season of the captain's career, or only the season that you roster? For example, if my captain is Bobo Newsom, and I use his 1944 Philadelphia A's season, for category A would anyone who ever played for any franchise that Newsom ever played for be eligible, or just players from the Athletics? For B, anyone from any of his seasons, or just anyone from 1944? For G, anyone who ever wore any uniform number he ever wore, or just players who wore the number that Newsom wore in 1944?

I had thought about A and B. C is not one I anticipated but here’s what I think …

A) This applies to your selected season. So in this case As franchise.
B) This also applies to your selected season. Players from 1944.
C) Here I think we should be broad. Pick any number your guy ever wore, and all the selected teammates must share that number. So you can’t have two teammates who wore one number and two who wore a different one. But what they wore the specific season you use for each is not an issue. Just at some point in their careers.

In the $110M theme, not only am I going to use "Frank Tanaka", I think I'll name my team after him!

Hopefully that was my only typo. Long list and my iPad kept autocorrecting me!

Pick one. Either Johns or Smiths but not mixed.

What that means is that you can’t double up and choose, for example, 3 categories with 8 teammates each and use same state twice and use 16 of them as teammates. In that case, you’d use any 3 of the 8 categories one time each with 8 teammates from each of them.
