I have one free agent I covet, and I don't know that I'll be able to get him. I thought I could actually hold off and see if his price will drop, but I'm not sure it will. I have a back-up plan, but I don't even know if that guy will be there.

 

It would probably redeem this team for me for the next several seasons.

I can tell you he's open to moving a DH because he was ready to throw that guy in our deal for nothing, pretty much.

Yeah, we'll probably be right on top of $. I dont expect more than a couple openings, and have a solid waitlist. I expect to roll quickly, which may put those worlds even closer. Its a good world, and I think with no newbs except for Bret in season 2 we should be rape free

ugh. the hits keep coming. I liked that trade I put together for you yesterday for becker - before I knew you traded him. I would have swapped in rivera for becker, same deal too.

I don't really remember that being that good of a deal on my end. It's not like the Bolivar offer from last year.

yeah, Didnt think you'd miss them all that much, and theres at least a 50% chance I waive them before next season gets to 20 games

TM is more mediocre.  A championship carries too much weight.  It is just really hard to have over 17,000 games played and no championships.
