Now I have do something with 1 of my 3 dh/backup catcher types. These guys have no value on the trade market.
Unless they are traded to you. Then you give up an electric potential multiple all star outfielder, and a back of the rotation starting pitcher for them.
Trust me when I say I tried to rid myself of that pitcher. Ask bot, Anton, anyone. He has terrible vRH. I don't care about him. I needed to do something at dh.... james is phenomenal until he shows off his 39 vRHP at $6.5 per season... hartman gives me an every day high splits dh. He tried to talk me out of the ss but I didn't budge... I needed him to fill the void there permanently since I have zero prospects. Literally zero. I got two players for one imo. Now I'll just give away James to someone in your conference ;)
The other weird thing about hbd is that having a stacked lineup almost seems detrimental to their stats and team hitting. Its like I need to give my remaining potential all-star hitters some room to shine for them to shine or they won't. Compare my past lineups from the stacked underperfoming Jackson lineup vs Salem's decently attributed but unreal performing lineup. I think I needed more balance in the Jackson lineup to have them show up. My pitching is awesome so I can gamble with this theory of mine. I still have mcguire brush hartman Olmeda and mesa in the lineup ... i'll be fine.
Any takers with salary cap room for James?
