I've narrowed it down to six teams, in the 100M league. There's a little waste but I had no problem getting to 100M.

Team 1: 5461 PA, 1477 IP, 99.1 million (2 players over 8M)
Team 2: 6244 PA, 1573 IP, 99.8 million (1 player over 8M)
Team 3: 5983 PA, 1543 IP, 99.7 million (2 players over 8M)
Team 4: 5856 PA, 1429 IP, 99.9 million (2 players over 8M)
Team 5: TBD... need to downgrade somwhere, b/c I am over the cap
Team 6: 6205 PA, 1718 IP, 98.9 million (includes 250 ip of cheap scrubs)

This doesn't include 5-6 teams that I ultimately dropped out of consideration (none were dropped due to low salary).

Like others, I have built many 'good' 3-year teams that have come in around 90m. I also have a squad that fits under the 100m cap that I might end up using, but I'm wondering about the appetite for alignment by team salary. Would people feel better about entering a 90m squad knowing they would be in a division with similar salaries?

I personally would vote no here. If a handful on owners find a way to maximize the $100M salary cap, I don't believe they should be penalized by being put in a division with other teams that also may have found the best use of the money. We all know the cap and the rules, I wouldn't feel the need to adjust it. With that said, my current frontrunner for this team has an offense that might not be competitive with an 80M cap

That's a fair response.
I have a handful of teams that fit better under 90m; a handful of teams that need 110m; a handful that could use 300k exceptions or wiggle room on the yearly player limit and/or yearly salary requirements, and one that uses 100m but that I'm not overly happy with.
I guess that's the nature of the theme.

Please - no changes at this point unless those who came up with them truly feel they made a mistake that renders the theme unworkable.

I do not expect any chnages to be made at this point.

Correct. No changes.

I did finish a team finally. I feel comforted that everyone is having issues and making sacrifices. Interested to see how this one plays out.

I do have versions of 4 of the themes at least valid, but I can't say I feel finished by a long ways. I keep tinkering with the 70m and 100m and trying different things, and I'm still not satisfied I've found one I really like.

At this point, $100m is only one I’m not satisfied with; and closest to $100m I’ve found thus far is $93.3m.

It's a much more genius theme than it seems. I've created only one team that's at $100M with no wasted salary, yet I think I might actually be happier with one of my $95M teams.

I have all six teams made. They're not...good. But they are built.

$100 Million – Three Year Dynasty
Pick 3 consecutive seasons of a single franchise (i.e., 1929-31 Athletics). You must build your roster from players on these three teams (no twisting) without clones. You must roster at least 8 players from each season. You must spend at least $25M from each season.

Seasons: All
DH: No
Clones: No
Ballpark: Use a stadium your chosen team played in for at least one of your seasons (or What If Sports Park, if not available)
Alignment: Random
300K exceptions: No
Combined seasons: You can use only partial or full seasons from your franchise
Team name: Please include your franchise and 3-year time period as part of your team name

I expect this will be the league with the most corrections that need to be made:
-- the 8/8/9 rule
-- The 25M minimum rule
-- No combined seasons.

I bet at least 25% of owners will miss one or more of the above...

Agreed. But I'll take the over on 25%
