Every American who voted for Trump should be hanging their head in shame today… and apologizing.

His base will be at the top of the people who suffer the most because of him.

For those who say these people won’t be confirmed Trump will try recess appointments. Those who say he isn’t really serious about them because he knows they cannot be confirmed are dead wrong.
He spoke about wanting recess appointments a few days ago before he rolled them out. He really wants these people.

He waited for today’s two until after he went to speak with Biden.

He should appoint Biden as Labor Secretary - nobody has ever been so good in creating jobs.

I took the defeat of gaining an evil man with serious issues of lying and needing revenge and committing crimes and imploring and insisting and inspiring others to commit crimes for him, very well which surprised me.

It has been established that many in the radical right wing inc. want to end birthright citizenship of those who are born in the United States from parents that are illegal. Many want that to stop.

It dawned on me and I have not heard this mentioned anywhere that there could be a push to end a pathway to a green card when someone overstays their visa and marries a citizen or permanent resident.

It seems to be a logical progression.

What I cannot figure out and I’m sure others who had fully functioning brains and patriotism when they voted is this - this is the thing always on my mind when I think about Trump.:
What is motivating him, what makes him tick?

So many things that he stands for makes his agenda scream out that the man is evil.

His obsequious behavior toward Putin and Russia beg the questions, What is in it for him, why does he conform foreign policy to help Russia while hating Ukraine and being gleeful to take us out of NATO ?

Do not his cabinet positions demonstrate some type of severely aberrant psychological stability and abnormal
thinking?
And on the other hand does not his cabinet picks seem to indicate a desire to fatally injure some institutions and cause grave damage to the country the values and the future of the country?
And does not his actions and support for Russia and fellow dictatorships indicate yet another desire to help Russia by bringing America to its knees?

It is very difficult to assess his mind - is he a Russian stooge? Is he an essentially evil person?
Is he profoundly mentally disturbed in his bizarre actions and goals ?
Is he a dangerous autocrat who admires the worst and most dangerous leaders of other countries?
Is he so narcissistic that he would bring down the country just to feed his ego and put loads of money in his pocket and bring him into his beloved club of the axis of evil?

All of the above seem to be intertwined and it isn’t just one of those issues.
And part and parcel does anyone really know if he believes some or all of his lies. Is it all evil or delusional or both?
I think that he is a very sick and very evil man all wrapped up into a monster.

There are few things that send a stronger signal about a person's discomfort with their own gender and sexual identity, than when someone gets squirrelly about pronouns and capital letters they don't understand.

As for the nonsense about rethuglican "leadership" I invite anyone with half a brain to spend a few minutes researching which states have the healthiest people, the longest life expectancy, the lowest infant mortality rates, the highest education, the highest per capita income...without even trying hard you will see an incredibly strong correlation with the blue states largely at the very top, and the reddest of red states at the very bottom. The deepest red states in the US consistently fail their people in economics, health, education, and overall wellbeing.

Trickle down economies have never worked even a little bit and never will because of human nature and I think that Trump knows that.
Unless the people getting the huge tax cuts are various clergy and nuns and philanthropists forget about it.

I think that is one of the reasons Trump
wants to do crippling tariffs. It has not been used like Trump wants to in order to create the revenue necessary to make up for the revenue from taxes stolen from the lower economic strata and blowing up the deficit.

Any of the tax credits and other programs he says he would like to do for the needy are dependent on there being enough revenue from the tariffs or no go.
He is putting all of the eggs in one basket.

If he cannot do it he will fall back to his favorite default - blame it on Obama and Biden.

Look for maybe millions losing the quality ACA as money is diverted away. Even if ACA remains it will be less then it was and it will negatively impact people and families. Of course.

What will be the number of military officers and generals and majors who will resign?

Now the trump people are looking into court martials of officers involved in the Afghanistan withdrawal.

It is stupid to say that the United States lost the war in Vietnam. Does anyone ever say that China won the war in Vietnam.

The United States was helping South Vietnam win their war against North Vietnam. They did not win.

The United State could have leveled the cities in the North but the cities of the south would have also been destroyed.
As it was, 2 million civilians on both sides died.
Military losses -
North - 1.1 million
South - 200,00
American - 58,000

Approximately 17% of the North was killed. That is staggering and much higher then the South.
20% of the country was killed.
The South fought a defensive war. They were the people with the high human values. The North had the brutal ugly army on the march to destroy.

Had the South been the aggressors it might have been the opposite. The South’s army after decades of attempting self preservation collapsed.

The United States did not want to cause the country to end up like what had happened to Gaza because the North was destroyed.

China would have helped do the same to the South.
The aggressor in such wars are heartless ideologues usually and in such wars they automatically have the advantage and the will to continue.
They have less concern for human life.

Same for Afghanistan.

Now we are engaged in a domestic Vietnam but the country will lose. There will be no Victor. The Trump people will lose as well but they don’t understand that now.
The ones who are the loudest are often trying to suppress thinking by drowning it out.

Trump’s economy is based on anger and revenge and war like principles. It depends on enough revenue from tariffs to prevent high inflation crippling deficits and cancellation of tax credits and vital programs for the people who are not wealthy. The tariff economy will fail.
Everybody knows that.

Non wealthy people hang on to your health insurance and your medicines and your sanity. You are the new South Vietnamese whether some of you know it or not.

We are in a domestic Vietnam.
