Inflation Topic

One HUGE problem that most gloss right over is the fact that, since the Reagan era common working pensions have disappeared and they’ve forced every tom, dick and harry into the stock market with their retirement funds. And dick and harry don’t really know anything about investments and markets, despite their claiming to be "wise" and "professional" day traders. Now, since they were forced into the market by their disappeared pensions and the push to put their money into the great 401k scam they’re clueless about how and why they’re all losing their *****. It all goes back to Reagan. He started destroying unions and handing power to big corporate and the regular guy has been getting bent over for 40 years because Reaganomics is all the GQP knows and they’ve slowly destroyed unions and the middle class in the process. Taking your retirement away from you is an exclusively Republican ideal that's been brewing for 4 decades and they're closer than ever to actually doing it. They'll do it by raping you in the stock market or by cutting Social Security, but one way or another it's the Republicans that are coming for your retirement, not the Democrats.

U.S. is in a Bear market and it will maybe never correct.. The 'experts' at Goldman Sucks are not telling you this, but the numbers don't lie

Never mind that stuff. I went to put some air in my r reat tire, and the buggers have this compressor. They charge 2 BUX to use it, and the damned thing is good for 4 lbs then you go for the drill again. The NERVE of the greedy bast---s.

Tire store did it for nothing..Kal Tire Rocks

Chevron SUXX Ticker symbol CVX if you see it drop, then let me know and I will be quite happy.

I am holding Suncor :-/ )

I used to check the tires, the Oil, clean the windshield. and check the fan belts. I got 7% on all TBA.

Teen years were good ones. Pumping gas was ok. worked the lube bay too. did tires, shocks, brakes and hoses..etc

Today the lazy bums just it in the cubbyhole and you pay FIRST, pump your own gas, and do your own windshield

We have made such progress. They don't even make a decent ball point pen anymore. Instead they skip, print too light, and dry up after an hour of use. Made in China. We have been suckered, big time

The world SUCKS

End of rant

i am content to sit in my car at Oil Can Henry's that got bought out by Valvoline and i am sure i would be good with Jiffy Lube too and eat my breakfast sammy and coffee over $5 now

oil change costs like $75 bucks but i'm in and out (mwett will say He's in and out) in under a half hour

i guess my question is, how long does a serpentine belt last

i drive a stick and at 120K miles had to replace the clutch (here mwett, I ride that f*cker hard) but i am sure i am due for brakes and maybe wheel bearings too. the great thing about riding the clutch is i save on brakes.

gonna be in the $500-$1000 range i imagine. the great thing about Les Schwab is there is one in every town and they honor their warranty. so if you're out and about you got recourse

durn. no Irish whiskey for me this year. which according to bottomlee is in the $80 range

in my town baking potatos are going for 85 cents a pound

can you believe it? almost a dollar a pound for a dim dumb cellar dwellin tuber

and stew meat $7 a pound (thanks for your sacrifice mister cow)

i might need to work at a 7-11 for a year just to build up a war chest for candy and nuts

For the better "normal" bottles.

$40 still gets a great pour. Just not as good as 80.

Course, you can always get into the hundreds....
