In researching #32 double uniques that we got as a draw, we see Ferdie Schupp was taken.

Ferdie Schupp is not a double unique as Ferdie Moore played fot the 1914 Philadelphia A’s.

Ferdie Moore is not sim eligible. I assumed that every category was based on the sim search engine, and not subject to scouring baseball reference for any player who had 1 PA or 1 IP.

Using Schwarze’s “flawed logic”

As an example Victor Gonzalez would be eligible for #44, because in WIS search he only played for Dodgers. But in actuality he played one season for the Yankees.

Another example is Christy Mathewson for double unique since his brother Frank doesn’t appear in WIS.


He needs to repick his double unique.

When doing a search in WIS... First Name "Ferdie" and Last Name "Schupp" only appear for Ferdie Schupp so he is a unique name and is allowed.
No where in the rules was it stated that we were using baseball-reference. I have done all my searches for legality of picks using the WIS search engine.
Sorry if this was not made clear at the beginning of the draft.
