Congratulations and thank you Mwett! Topic

Thanks! Definitely encourage folks to upvote (and not necessarily leave comments — those don't increase the issue's ranking / visibility on the board.

No, of course not :)

@ozomatli I've been trying to upvote it since you posted it yesterday, but there's some kind of a bug that won't let me.

I click the link you posted, I click the thumbs up, but I'm asked to sign in (which I already am obviously), and when I submit my email address it gives me this message "We couldn’t find an account with that email." obviously makes no sense since that's the email I use to connect in WIS.

I tried logging out and back in, still won't work.

Response from support:

"This situation has been brought up and reviewed and since there is no rules violation (albeit not enjoyable by the community) there is no enforcement needed here. You're welcome to add this suggestion to our feedback site for us to consider/review for possible future updates. You can add this by going to the "community" tab and then selecting "feedback" to add this."

Disappointing, but I went ahead and created an issue on the feedback board. If you'd like to support this issue being prioritized, please upvote it here by clicking the Upvote button in the top right part of the page.
Just reposting here so people can easily find the link on this new page of the thread

I followed up with them to let them know folks had been upvoting the issue (it's actually the most upvoted issue in the last 5 months already, after just a week and a half).

They said it they recognize there is an issue and it will be looked at when they do the next round of updates on SLB (they are currently working on a different game).

I asked for a rough timeline but wasn't given anything specific.

In the meantime, keep the upvotes going! If we have enough go through they may prioritize it sooner

If we get 4 more upvotes we will have the second most upvotes of any request on the site

make that 3 votes, I just did my patriotic duty and clicked that upvoted button. Nice work Billy. Appreciate your efforts.

Our push seems to be making a difference. Here's a message I just received from Bob (the site's owner):

"Jordan has brought this to my attention and I'll be meeting with the devs today to talk about how quickly we could implement something like this. Thanks for posting it on the feedback site."

So hopefully we'll have something implemented here soon. In the meantime, keep upvoting :)

In related news I just beat Mwett in the World Series.... only to discover he has 8 copies of that team in the TOC lmao.

Just came back after a hiatus of almost 2 year and joined an open league he is 13-1 lol. Even a .001% increase in price of players that have been used the most over the past however many months can throw off this.

Well yeah, that's what I've been saying all along.

He needs to enter that team 10 times in a $80 mil ToC to have a chance of winning one.

He calls that his plan to "make a mockery of the game".

I have read this post with great interest. I have had teams in SLB since 2001 and I enjoy the site. I was able to win enough games early to build a fairly modest user rating. As I "learned" more about how to pick teams I became less successful! I have noticed the "success"of the owner in question and also the success of other owners with many different teams from league to league. I am supportive of some of the ideas I have seen here but also enjoy the OL. if there are older forum posts regarding team strategies that may still be relevant, I would appreciate a few links. I wish I could remember my simpler building strategies from 10-15 years ago but would they even work now? anyway...thanks for This discussion from an owner who does not field a lot of teams but really enjoys the league and the discussions

If you go to the advanced search, set your time period to all, forum to simleague baseball, and author to johngpf or zubinsum then you’ll pretty much strike gold with every post.

Thanks...I have read johngpf posts here and there...thanks for the names!
