If you’re on his bb- ref page, you’ll see circles with numbers inside them. Clicking on any of those will take you to a list of players who also wore that number.

Where do those show up? Think I must just be missing them. Maybe they don't know them for everyone?

I believe the Yankees in the 20s became the first to wear numbers. So it’s possible some players earlier than that don’t have them.

For the $110M:

Not a question, but just a funny observation — there's one team that not only has no players worth using (IMO) but also somehow no $200k scrub seasons. Totally useless team lol. I'm sure others will know which one I'm referring to, so I don't think I'm spoiling anything here.

I built my first roster yesterday in part to see which team you meant. I might have a different definition of worth playing, but I see 2-3 suspects for your claim based on my research. I didn’t check every player though as I was crossing off some teams early after using a guy I wanted.

I am sorry that I didn’t realize Jeff Zimmerman pitched only 3 seasons. I was looking for ace RP types for each team and saw he had one great season. But ideally I should have used guys with many more choices.

Nah it was fun, and I actually like my team quite a bit. Was just complaining because if that one team had either a useful player or a 200k season it would've allowed me to make one other final move I wanted to. But you did a good job with them.

Putting out some proposed round 2 deadlines for feedback now.

We should be done with playoffs and have commitments to participate by the end of the month. We can start the drafts one after the other off the clock after that. The $90m one shouldn’t take long and people can start building those rosters quickly. The $255m one is your roster build as you draft.

I’m thinking about:
Sept. 22 - 3 teams in
Oct. 6 - 6 teams in

I’m not sure if it’s possible for 2025 players to be available by Oct 6, but I’m inclined to institute a blanket rule that we can’t use them. It would be unfair to anyone whose teams were already in and generate some unwelcome potential scrambling.

Anyone have any concerns about that 2025 players issue?

Seems like the right call to me.

Q: If the 2025 MLB players are released before the deadline for submitting teams (for Round 2), will those players be eligible for twisting (or will it still only go up to 2024)?

A: Yes, 2025 players will be eligible if available.

That would have to change yes due to timing. I looked and last year we had a R2 deadline of Sept 8 so clearly we pushed a little close to the edge this year. I hadn’t done the math back then to see if would cut too close to be workable.

Ya, I found value with every franchise - some definitely more limited than others, but every franchise has at least a solid RP or very good usable bench option that you can platoon with someone else who is a bit short on PAs.

I'll be more than happy if everyone else makes someone from the franchise I had in mind a meaningful part of their team lol

I can't decide if I would rather pass emanes10 and grab the last captain spot in the draft, or let him have it and then have my pick of divisions in the #7 spot.

When we assembled the themes, it never occurred to me I might wind up as one of the captains. There’s a lot of pressure not to mess that up, and I’d better start researching carefully.

For the $255M draft:

Can a captain forgo being a captain, pass the responsibility to someone else, and instead select their division from the #7 slot?
