Trump and Canada tariffs

Trump says there is a 250 billion deficit.
No source for the claim.
Facts - there was a 900 billion deficit in 2022.
There was a 70 billion deficit in 2023.
There was a 50 billion deficit in 2024.
As with a lot of things trade deficits were greatly affected by Covid!

The vast amount of the deficit comes from gas and oil.
Biden did a great deal of increasing reliance on our own gas and oil. Thus the downward spike.
I bet that the deficit with Canada during 17-21 was very high. I will check that.

If you subtract our current gas and oil deficit with Canada we have a surplus of 58 billion.

Also keep in mind who are the 2 countries that get the most of our exports. That would be Canada and Mexico. If they take less exports how will that help.

I wonder if ICE will tackle the Texas farms close to Mexico. Those farmers could be devastated if they lose their workers. Being deep red state farmers it will be interesting as how it is handled there. It would be very very easy to round up illegals on the farms.

There are about 125,00 public and private K-12 schools in the USA and about 80,000 licensed gun dealers. There are about 200,000 fast food restaurants so about 2.5 times McDonalds etc more the gun dealerships.

3. General Milley. I have a godson who worked briefly for General Milley. He is a patriot. He is dedicated to the safety of the country and the values we used to aspire to. He bit his tongue for as long as he could until he was forced to speak out about things like Trump insulting the military and called those who made the ultimate sacrifice “ suckers and losers, what was in it for them “ and reported dangerous incompetence and plans. He is under threat of death from baboons and Iran.

These individuals need protection. Trump ripped it away and has says that if they are killed he would feel no guilt because they do not deserve it and they should get their own.

Why is it so easy for some to be able to clearly recognize evil and others are too stupid or deluded to recognize it.

Many Maga voters will get hurt if some of these things go through.
