This cabinet is immune from such considerations especially since they are in lock step. Except I’m sure Rubio.

What is Rubio’s game. He obviously wants to be president. Maybe he thinks that being a good soldier will put him in top position in 28.
Meanwhile Trump is fertilizing the land for defying court rulings changing norms and ending the rule of law when he sees fit and getting rid of federal workers that are not loyalists and increasing MAGA judges.A constitutional crisis nay a catastrophic confrontation is around the corner as Trump will defy federal court rulings and the DOJ will not uphold the rule of law and judicial decisions on orders of the executive branch.

If the judiciary gets worse and if the Supreme Court gets 5 MAGA they now have 4 I do not even want to think about what is going to happen.

If Trump is still alive by 28 he will absolutely declare the term limit unconstitutional and either get the constitution changed one way or another or keep power by force like he tried to do before. And do not forget that he was stopped from declaring martial law after he lost.

There is a growing majority that say that they are concerned that there is a constitutional crisis happening. I am not sure that half of the country knows the difference between constitution and constipation.
We will see.

There was a press conference yesterday with the king of Jordan and Rubio was there, the vassal and his liege.
Trump was going on and on about how the United States was going to simply take Gaza as its own territory. Whether there is objection or not. The USA would seize ( my word ) it. Take it ( his word ).
And develop it he said just like all of the real estate deals throughout his career.
If course he insisted that Arab countries including Jordan and Egypt and Saudi Arabia would agree to his plan and 2 million Palestinians would be brought in to live there ( permanently) as their new homes.

And he also doubled down that the Palestinians will love this plan ( just like he insisted that everyone in the country wanted Roe v Wade overturned so that states could do whatever they wanted ).

The king was peppered with questions about would he support the plan and would he receive refugees. He is accepting 2,000 children for humanitarian purposes but that had zero to do with Trump’s plan. He deftly refused to react to the plan and just sat there stoically and repeated that the various Arab countries were going to get together and talk about it. He would not go further. He looked uncomfortable and humorless. And never showed any facial agreement with Trump.

Then there was Rubio. He sat there with a different facial expression. Not impassive but eyes wide wide open not even blinking staring at the camera with a frozen look of horror. He looked like he was in a state of shock and horrified by what he was listening to.
To me it looked like he was thinking that he was a fool for taking the job and what did he get himself into and he was sitting next to a wannabe dictator who was also a raving mentally ill lunatic. There is no way that he will still be around by the midterms.

And he lost his job as senator. He would have to wait 4 years to enter the primary against Rick Scott and 6 to run against his replacement.

He could run for the house or run for governor in 2026.

But thank goodness Trump has brought down the price of eggs. Wasn't that what the 2024 election was all about?

Eggs win every time in our senile mentally challenged country. It is very very fair to say that anybody who voted for him after Jan 6 and with everything he said and did after before Election Day, Does Not give a damn about democracy. Democracy is an inconvenient abstract thing run by the democrats which thereby makes it something to shun or relegate to failed government.

And how about the ironies re the Palestinians and the Trump plan. Nobody is saying , not even Trump , that the Gaza is not rightfully the Palestinians.
Under his plan the Palestinians would become refugees after a foreign country not even from the Middle East usurped them of their homeland just like Russia is trying to do with Ukraine.

Imagine a Palestinian resettled into Egypt who wants to see the American Gaza. If he wants to spend a few days there he would have to pay a hotel owner ( Ivanka and Jared ) or maybe Baron, to stay there. It is unbelievable.

Trump would put American soldiers and contractors at extreme risk of terror attacks as they rebuild Gaza. Which would happen. Hamas and Hezbollah are not going to accept such conditions.
Imagine starting about 5 wars and literally countless terror attacks only to say USA take our land and get rich on beach front properties.
One would have to be some kind of brain damaged clown to think that would happen.

The United States is in grave danger. Comments on what he is trying to do in Ukraine another day. Smart intelligent people will understand the difference between peaceful resolution and forced surrender.

Trump has called Putin to negotiate a deal with Russia. He did not include Zelensky and did not tell him that he was going to call Putin. Trump was taking unilateral action against the interest of the invaded country once again painting the victimized Ukraine as the aggressor. He intends to freeze military aid to coerce Ukraine to surrender getting loss of their sovereign land and no NATO. What they get is a stoppage from a country whose promises are not worth a plug nickel.

Without a meeting of the minds with Ukraine he simply weakens their position.

If things continue down the Agenda 2025 struggle path then states will have butchered Medicaid and there will be cuts in Medicare and Social Security. And I won’t be surprised one bit if people more then happy to deny authorization for treatment and procedures are put into Medicare to save money.

By 2028 there will be big cuts in Medicare and Obamacare and Medicaid and prices going up for drugs and higher co pays and some dangerous shiit getting into the market. Life expectancy will be starting to drop.
