Whalers, have fun with the addition of the 1940 Washington Senators in your corral, no pitching, only 1 good D player you dont need, and I don't see any obvious upgrades salary wise.

BullMoose - I had listed the 1940 Brooklyn Dodgers as potential for me before you selected them as they have balance. They have nice cost effective players on Offense in Dixie Walker, Joe Medwick, Dolph Camilli. They have three SS so you likely will get your bench SS here at a minimum.

Pitching is well rounded as far as having choices in the 1.1 to 1.2 Whip range but they are more starters by committee almost looking like today's staffs with only one over 200 IP.

As another has said there are a lot of bad teams still out here but the 1950 Philadelphia Athletics offer no bench but one OF and the staff has a few cheap mop ups with legendary bad numbers. Team P numbers 5.33 ERA, .284 OAV, and 1.65 Whip. They have some OK OF's but so do your Brooklyn Dodgers. They have a good 1B so you would have to choose between Farris Fain and Dolph Camilli and that will be your easiest decision.

Jbar8888 All of the truly bad teams are gone. The best I could do.was try to limit your hitting. I give you the '70 Phillies. I see maybe 1 starter and a few lowish cost back ups but not much else. Have fun. Also, please sitemail next as I am a little out of pocket.

There’s never been a KC A’s assignment in this league that anyone enjoyed. Solid choice.

Grayfoxx, have your best with the 1940's St. Louis Browns. They have some decent OF's with Wally Judnich and Rip Radcliff, but I really hope that you enjoy the pitching. The best pitcher having 100 IP's with a 3.77 ERA might seem attractive, except you will have nearly no good SP options from this team. There is some decent cheapies, two of which bat .210 or below. So good luck!

I agree with this reasoning. The draft clock is paused, but the draft order should be respected.

One tricky thing is that today is a travel day for me, so I can't monitor constantly. But I will try check in when I can.

So, the draft clock will turn back on automatically today IF a manager makes a pick in order which ALSO happens during their window. I will leave it to you all to declare if that happens. If it does, the clock will bind owners after that point.

Preeves chose the '40 Red Sox and has set himself up with some decent offense and several potential back-ups. He doesn't have much in the way of pitching, though - so I'll stick him with the 1930 Cincinnati Reds. There are some good hitters on that team but at positions where he already has options and it could force him to make some tough choices.
