If you have seen him on TV you will notice he is speaking in quiet hushed and not bombastic tones most of the time. Because he is losing and he knows it and he has been telling too many lies even for him. Those lies are catching up and his polls very very bad.

Supermarkets can oust MAGA and ruin Gump.
They can raise the price of the vast majority of items including eggs, milk and chicken and then say they can’t be lowered because of the tariffs and blame it on Gump.

It was embarrassing the other day to see Trump post “ Vladimir Stop!!! then a little more BFF stuff.

”Vladimir Stop” is kind of creepy mushy talk for 2 leaders of countries that are still officially adversaries.
There is puppet/master thing going on. Also a gay lovers familiarity. It has really seemed like that almost 10 years. Putin is in charge. And Trump is so obsequies and solicitous that it has humiliated the United States.

Vladimir Stop for all of the MAGA macho crap - Vladimir Stop! is the sound of a paper tiger Trump begging for Putin to stop because of “ their friendship” LOL. Talk about snowflakes and woke and all of that BS. MAGA hates the LBGTQ people but I’m sorry Trump sounds like a submissive person in a gay relationship. Why mince words and why not acknowledge the appearance of a strong commanding Putin over a fawning worried Trump? What do you say to that MR MAGA ?

Santos gets 87 months today. 7 years and 3 months.
It is federal so no parole. Unless he is pardoned or commuted he gets 87 months in prison. Lots of reimbursement too. And 2 year supervision upon release.

I really hate the American history of Protestant hate for Catholics. Many people are unaware that Catholics were the number one enemy of the KKK. Maybe a little ahead of African Americans or a little behind but way up there. Jews third.
I think that the hats were a swipe at the pope.
The antipathy was so great that it was considered a miraculous thing when JFK won.

Trump has been so anti pope his whole presidential career. Lashing out disgracefully when criticized.
And Trump has never made outreach to Catholics compared to Protestants.

At the funeral he wears a blue blue suit with matching tie. He was asked to wear black and black. The tie is not a big deal but the suit was. Find a photo of the first row and you will see his disgusting disregard and disrespect. You might be shocked.

Just the latest example that Trump to his core is a man of hatred and lies.

PS I am not catholic or Christian. Just an agnostic Jew. It does not make a difference what my religious beliefs are or are not. And I also know that the relationship between Catholics and Protestants is not hateful anymore.
Trump showing hate of the Pope is disrespectful of the Catholic people and christians in general. And is just the latest way that he has disgraced the country.

What will it take for republicans and other assorted ( fill in the blank ) to become patriotic and pro democracy and anti hate and pro Judea - Christian values and good samaritans and pro education and pro science and pro facts and anti lies and pro smart people and pro quality people and being intelligent enough to be able to choose good and goodness and not evil and chaos and revenge and the crushing of the rule of law and due process and the destruction of crucial institutions and vital life saving agencies and etc and etc etc?????


It looks more and more like nothing less then an actual nuclear war.

Other then the abortion bans ( if that is what you wanted ) what notable achievements have the national republicans had since 1992?

They blew up Clinton’s balanced budget and ruined tax revenues. While always trying to cut programs that cause existential damage.
No important domestic legislation
No important foreign policy accomplishments

It is just like shooting fish in a barrel to point out how their efforts have destroyed the banking systems the economy Covid response rule of law Iran deal killing institutions left and right there are way too many etc etc etc to count.

But they get elected. Why - because we live in a #%^** country.
And it is such a #%^** country that they re-elected Bush 2 and Trump.

Canada has the same population as California.
It is also an historically progressive country. It was moving more conservative until Trump blew up the conservatives.

Canada would have so many electoral votes it would shift the balance of power.
What would happen to Canada’s health care program?
What would happen to government retirement benefits?

Im sure there are plenty of thorny issues.

Of course the whole thing is a product of a mentally challenged president but I’m just playing along.
