33-36, 29-40, 25-44, 21-48, 29-40, 32-37.... Added up, the overal W-L records of my opponents this morning was 169-245 (.408). This is essentially like playing against a 66-96 team in all six leagues. I proceded to go 1-5, including blowing two 9th inning (or later) leads...
Ended up going 5-1 in the second game vs the same opponents. Overall, 6-6, +38 run differential.

I went 1-5 in games decided by 1-2 runs 5-1 in games decided by 3+ runs.

I was away from the site for 2 days and apparently all of my teams decided to go away as well. Went 9-29 with my first Mauch. As soon as I got back the normalcy of mediocrity returned with a couple of good sessions thrown in. Need a couple of schwarzes to get back of the floor.

Kicking myself for not drafting enough innings for the Trio Albatross league. I keep alternating between 4-2 and 3-3 every cycle, and there’s no doubt if I wasn’t experiencing a fatigue spiral in that league, I’d be in the running for the top spot
7/25/2025 9:57 PM
Stumbling into the second half with a couple 2-4 cycles and a 70m team with tired arms on an L9. Perhaps these are harbingers.
7/26/2025 2:08 PM
Same boat. Way too many 3-3s and 2-4s the past couple days
7/26/2025 2:22 PM
Recent runs for my teams..

70M: This team is out of it, 13 games under .500
80M: 2-5
100M: 1-6 (including 5 straight 1-run losses, 17 of team's 32 losses by 1 run)
110M: 3-6 (toughest division in entire tournament, avg record 48-35, currently 3rd in division with 46 wins)
120M: 4-4 (vs. 3 teams a combined 41 games below .500)
140M: 3-3 (exp win% .628, actual win% .530)

13-24 run combined

I brought a couple teams back from fatigue danger. They were doing well fatigued and now at 100% they’re losing.

I was in 5th place a week ago and am now 15 games back of 5th place.

every year I say I'm not going to play this, and every year I think the outcomes will be different, but i'm quick;y reminded nope its still the same thing over and over. lets see how we blew this 9th inning, ah the ol plunked in the knee, then the catcher cant throw to first base and mmm lets throw in another ball ricochets off the glove for the loss.

The slide continues…

In looking for silver linings in an overall disappointing showing so far, I found that all my teams are actually doing better at home than on the road. I make mediocre teams, but I at least know what stadium to play them in. Is that worth anything?
7/29/2025 12:29 AM
Had my first 0-6 during the am set.
