Nothing has changed with my teams but we suddenly can’t win. Guess I just get to sit back and watch the slide continue.

2-4 AM followed by a sick 1-5 pm with a lost no hitter with 2 outs in the 9th, losing the game in 11 on two poor plays...and another 2 outs out in the 9th blown lead and loss. Cubbies84 teams clearly in mourning losing our beloved Ryno.

I do. I was in college (U of I) at the time. My girlfriend (now wife) and I were visiting friends in Carbondale for the weekend. Carbondale is in the southern tip of Illinois, and is very heavily populated with Cardinals fans. The game was on TV and we were all watching it (our friends were Cardinals fans).

I was only 9 and not rich enough for cable, so i wouldve had to wait til the next day when I'd scour the newspaper and dissect every box score!

ooo another 1-5 with 2 more 9th inning losses, 4-14 session...even tougher with 5 of my teams in first place and suddenly being total trash! lol this game never ceases to humble.

I’m old enough to remember when all my teams didn’t suck.

I don't think this game was on cable. I think it was the Saturday game of the week. Millions watched and I'm convinced that this game won the MVP for Sandberg.

My second schwarze of the season, this time the only one in the entire field in the PM slot! At the risk of jinxing it, I'm starting to feel like I have a real shot at the second round for the first time. 5 of 6 teams would make the playoffs at the moment. Keep it going, guys!

Anyone else notice the top 3 are starting to pull away while some of us keep jogging in place?

I’d settle for jogging in place. Feels like I’m trying to run up a hill of ice at this point.

We have fallen off the pace over this week. Rough times over here at Ozo HQ.

Another 1-5. I’m seriously close to giving up. Doing well for half the season and suddenly the 6th worst owner in the entire tourney over this 27 stretch. It’s beyond ridiculous to have every team turn into a pile of crap at once.

I'm using up all of my luck on one team.

I acknowledge that my $100M team is very lucky. 31-8 in 1-run games is crazy. However, all of my other teams are slightly unlucky which makes it a wash I suppose. Interestingly, my $140M team is 7-18 in 1-run games but playing almost exactly to their expected win %.
