Their Bible has many of the same authors (inspired by the same source) and in fact the New Testament of the King James version is nearly identical within the Catholic Bible. So........ (my explanation as a non-preacher) the NEW Christian Law (layed out in the New Testament) is the same for both Catholics and Protestants.

Finally, the "whore" is in the White House NOT in Revelations!

I'm an American citizen and voter! I believe it is my duty to inform myself and VOTE in every election. I do that.
I vote by mail. In my State many of us do. I will continue to vote by mail. Entire States vote entirely by Mail. Oregon is one of those states I believe.

This new Law the Repugnants want to enact would ban voting by mail. It is entirely designed to assist the Repugnants keeping votes they don't like from being cast. It is a complete HOAX. There are almost NO illegal voting in our Country happening. There is NO issue needing fixed.

It is a REPUBLICAN attempt to save themselves from the backlash of their unwise policies.
That particular political Party has been usurped and taken over by evildoers who seek POWER! They call themselves the MAGA movement.
They do need a movement all right. They need to excrete the evil that has blinded their minds and souls.
They need to crap the Trump and ALL his evil minions OUT of their political body.

Some people need religion so much that they see Jesus and others in their mash potatoes and their hot chocolate.

The biggest trend in religion today is the growing trend of moving away from or abandonment of any belief in any religion. It is false to those me included. About 40% in America do not have any religion. About 10% of the entire population is Atheist or agnostic and about 25% have a personal concept of God which is not part of any religion. So about 40% of of the United reject religion. And do not need it.

Like it or not it is happening. The need for religion is imo natural but the questions and doubts are also natural. And then it is ultimately natural for religion to be replaced by the alternative of ethical life and humanism.

It has been happening on huge scales around the world over the last several decades and there is no end in sight. It is moving fast in USA.

And imo bad religious beliefs ends up I leading to the disentanglement of the masses from the religions of the world.

I’m very much in favor of this war.
It is great for Israel and what is good for Israel is good for us. And :

It is needed for the USA because Trump is directly responsible for Iran now getting so close to the operational nuke. He f’d up massive big time time. Dumb stupid evil crazy nutcase Schmuck. All because he hated Obama. He put the whole world at risk because he hated Obama and can’t handle Obama doing great things.

The war is technically illegal and seems to be prosecuted and staged less professionally than one would hope. Disgracefully re Americans getting out of harm’s way and most importantly NATO does not want to help because they hate Trump with passion.

If the Uranium people topple the government Hamas will be extremely weakened. They will lose arms and money and will be isolated. And morale will be sunk. Their only friend will be Hezbollah in Lebanon. Eventually they will hit close to zero in weapons - even homemade.

And if there is a regime change that has good guys in charge, of the nuke facilities can be destroyed and the missiles as well. They should keep just enough to defend against Iraq.

The free world will need to protect and help the new regime flourish and make sure it is a friend.

Now that the USA is an isolationist country we have very little help. Bush 1 knew what to do.

A lot of good can come of this despite the USA lack of leadership. It is a shame that we do not have a president who has wisdom and intellect and decency.

The Iraq war costs I think 3 trillion definitely more than a trillion. Bush had already given that money to millionaires and billionaires. And the deficit exploded.

Glenn,The Catholic Church formally recognized Israel in 1993. You are fighting Catholics but around 1962 in the middle of President Kennedy’s term the Catholic Church sought a new relationship of mutual respect and acceptance and with the outward seeking of unification which continues as a significant goal ever since to this day.

No comment on your religious points except to say some of them especially how Catholics and the Pope express their faith are wildly wrong.

The war is over. At least as far as Catholics are concerned. Many Protestants unfortunately keep up the fight and in a very conspiracy tainted barrage and with strange accusations and epithets.

You know something is wrong when Trump is asking Zelensky for weapons and Zelensky says pound sand and mocks Trump all the while best pal Putin is helping Iran to pinpoint United States targets for destruction and death.

And the USA is depleting some weapons because of the 12 day war and some in the Venezuela campaign and some other attacks.

Sometimes it is better to have friends. Who are not the blackmailer Putin.

Why does Trump not have a clear reason for the war?
Because he is trying to deny and obfuscate the failures of the main objective of the initial 12 day war.

It was chicken shirt and disrespectful lies to have said that all of the nuke facilities were obliterated. Of course almost everything he says are lies but that was a highly significant one.

If Trump was not such a stinking dog he would have admitted clearly that the war was necessary is to destroy the remaining nuke ambitions to make the USA and the world safe and not talk about reasons that are not true or simply secondary or fabricated.

The nation would generally accept that IF he also accurately stated the status of where Iran is in their enrichment and ability to make a nuke operational.

The country would probably agree with the war if Iran was within 6 months to create and operationalize a nuke.

Trump always destroys the attitude that honesty is the best policy.

Israel does not need the USA to battle Iran and destroy its missles and launchers. They only need the USA to help destroy the underground nukefacility.

And again the USA considers the nuke potential to be existential. Because Iran correctly is not a rational actor. They are as abnormal and dangerous as Trump is.

So another forced error in refusing to tell the truth which would be understood as a valid reason
and if Trump went to Congress and stated his case in an honest and factual way there would be a majority in favor of the war. Not going to Congress is also a terrible error and helps defeat the building of confidence in the need for the war.

Bush made his case to Congress even if a sense of probability of WMD was exaggerated into near certainty.

In less than 1.5 years we have 2 world wars.

Trump had some remarks earlier ( if you can call them remarks ). They were 50% crazy wild lies and 50% gibberish. He said something about people without legs walking around.

It looks like he is trying to walk back destroying the nuke underground site and now is saying it is about regime change. All I know is that if the USA is not there to end the nuke program than wtf are they there for.

BTW it came after a call with Putin and he also now talks about ending the war early.
