MLB 143299. The rules are rather simple:
Choose a decade. Then create an all-decade team using only players from that 10-year time period. $140 mil salary cap, no WW, clones, trades or AAA.
Now, here's the added part. There can only be a maximum of 4 teams per decade. The divisions will be aligned based on the decade you choose. For example, all 2010-2019 teams would be placed in one division, all 2000-2009 teams in another division, and so on.
Next, the oldest 12 teams (by decade #) will be placed in the National League and will not use a DH. The newest 12 teams will be placed in the American League and will use the DH. This is designed to curb the added hitting depth established around the 80s and ensure more competitive parody across each decade.
Simple format, but I think it could be a cool concept to explore. The division alignment is aimed to curb some of the advantages of dead ball era pitchers. If it is successful, I have plans in expanding it into a possible progressive league, but I will explain that if this idea catches on and is successful.
