2) Former Florida Franchise: 68 wins, 2nd in AL West, 7th overall pick

3) Former Seattle Franchise: 68 wins, 4th in NL South, 10th overall pick

4) Former Helena Franchise: 74 wins, 1st (????) in AL West

As you can se the AL West (where two of these teams live) is wide open and can let you contend and rebuild at the same time. The Chicago and (in particular) Florida teams were very well-run for a long-time by excellent owners and are accordingly in good shape to rebuild without a ton of pain.

Given that these teams are all in a rebuilding phase and coming from a similar baseline of wins, I'm willing to offer a free season to the team that improves its win total by the most games, providing that the owner sticks around for a second season in Diamondbacks. Join today!

The other two are recent contenders that were lovingly managed for many seasons by excellent owners and are in correspondingly good situations to rebuild without bottoming out too badly.
