$80 MillionTwist on a Twist (Part 1)
Pick any single-season team and build your roster by twisting players who appeared on that team’s real-life roster to any season in their career. Use baseball-reference to determine eligibility (must have played at least 1 game with that team).
Part II of this theme will be used in Round 2… same rules, except that you must select the same team you used in Round 1 and build a roster using a $120M salary cap. Round 2 will use a DH.

DH: No
Clones: No
Ballpark: Use the stadium your chosen team played in (or What If Sports Park, if not available)

$80M Q&A

Q: For the 80M theme, are you allowed to use the same season of the same player on both your round 1 and 2 teams, or do the player's season have to be different between rounds?
A: Yes, you can use the same season of the same player in both rounds. There are no restrictions on how you form either roster other than they both have to be made by twisting players that appeared on your chosen team’s real life roster and filled out with sub 300k players of your choice.

Q: Can you use the designated season for a player or must it be a different season from the designated season?
A: You can use the designated season or any other from their career. You are not required to twist to a different season.

Q: If you have a sim-eligible player you don't need on your team's roster, are you required to roster him?
A: No. Regardless of how many eligible players your team has, you can use as many of them as you choose and fill spots with <300K players for as many as you choose.

Q: If the 2025 MLB players are released before the deadline for submitting teams (for Round 2), will those players be eligible for twisting (or will it still only go up to 2024)?
A: Yes, 2025 players will be eligible if available.

Q: Say you use 1971 Stl and you don't use Joe Torre in the 80mil, and you move on to the 120mil can I use Joe Torre then????
A: Yes, you can use any player that appeared on the real life roster... Doesn't matter if he appears on your $80M roster or not. Think of this as two unique Twist themes, just with different cap levels. There is no correlation between the 80M and 120M rosters, other than you have to twist using the same original real life team you selected.

Q: If I have a player listed as OF for that season but he also has other seasons as a pitcher (since we can twist) can I use one of his pitcher season?
A: Yes, if he played for the team in that season, you can twist him to any season in any role.

$140 Million - I Played With That Guy, Too
Pick any player whose career had at least 15 sim-eligible seasons. You must roster at least one version of this player. To build your roster, select one teammate from each of his seasons (must be from the season he was a teammate – no twisting). If your player appeared for multiple teams in a season, pick one for the teammate. If your player played in fewer than 24 seasons, then you will need to clone your player as many times as needed to fill out your roster. If you use a clone from a season where he played on multiple teams, it can be from any team regardless of your teammate selection.

Example 1: Warren Spahn played 21 seasons but only 20 are sim-eligible. So that means you must roster 20 teammates and 5 versions of Spahn. With respect to playing for multiple teams in the same season, Spahn played for the Mets and Giants in 1965, so you must use a teammate from either the ‘65 Mets or the ‘65 Giants (but not both). You don’t have to use 1965 Spahn, but if you do it doesn’t matter whether you used a Mets or Giants teammate.
Example 2: Pete Rose played 24 seasons, all sim-eligible. You would use one teammate from each season and one version of Rose with no clones needed. You could use an Expos or Reds teammate from 1984.
Example 3: Rickey Henderson played 25 seasons, all sim-eligible. You would use teammates from 24 of his seasons and one version of Rickey. In this case, one season wouldn’t need a teammate.

Seasons: Any
DH: Yes
Clones: Yes (but only your chosen player, not teammates)
Ballpark: Any park your chosen player called home, whether or not you roster him from that season
Alignment: Random
300K exceptions: No
Combined seasons: You can use partial or combined seasons
Team name: Include your player’s name

$140M Q&A

Q: In the 140 mil league, if your player has more than 24 seasons, can you choose how many seasons and which ones to use?
A: No. Any player with 24 or more years of WIS eligible seasons has to use 24 teammates and one version of the player. Just like a player with 21 years can’t use anything other than 4 clones and 21 teammates.

Q: I'm assuming that all teammate eligibility comes from WIS appearance--i.e. if my chosen player actually played on three teams in a season, but only two were WIS eligible, I could only choose teammates that year from the two WIS-eligible teams. Correct?
A: WIS-eligible in this theme just determines the seasons that require teammates. And the rules do say "If your player appeared for multiple teams in a season, pick one for the teammate." So you can use a teammate from any team from that season, even if he doesn't have a sim-eligible partial for it.

Q: Say a player has 22 seasons but 27 are WIS eligible. How many seasons of that player would you use?
A: So if he played 22 seasons, then you'd have 22 teammates and 3 versions of your player. The extra options just give you more teammate choices from the 22 seasons because he clearly had a lot of multi-team seasons.

Nice themes! I see you used one of my suggestions and two others seem fairly similar to the others that I suggested. Thanks!
