Did you grow up in the 1970’s like I did and long for the good ol’ days of Major League Baseball? Are you a fan of Bench, Rose, Morgan, Jackson, Palmer, or Carew? Or maybe you just like a challenging team build and competitive season. If so, this league is for you!

Rules:
1) $90M Salary Cap
2) All Players from the 1970’s
3) Franchise Soup - one player from each franchise* (26 franchises - somebody gets left out!). Partial seasons OK.
* the 1970 and 1971 Senators are the Texas Rangers franchise
4) Only ONE PITCHER and ONE HITTER may have a salary between $6M and $10M.
5) ALL other players must be below $6M in salary.
6) No Trades, WW, AAA, or Clones.
7) DH is used!
8) Stadium must have been in use during the 1970’s.

To clarify… Franchise Soup means that you pick one player from each franchise. You can’t have Johnny Bench AND Pete Rose on your team, unless it’s the 1979 Phillies version of Pete!

I love this league concept. I am going to enter, you will probably see my team go in and out because I will end up "tweaking" it until the league starts to get close to being filled. My only concern is the league not filling up due to the complexity of the rules..but I love it and I am in.
