Is it possible to draft a ten period over two decades? Could you potentially draft from 1965 to 1974 for example?

Also, can you draft from two American and two National league team?

Teams?

Just to get this out of the way now, I entered a team and am very happy to play with the current rules, but since you mentioned it was something you'd consider turning into a progressive I figured I'd put my two cents in for what would make it more viable long-term (I'd also be interested in something like that, I really like these sorts of themes).

I jrealized I'm actually 156 games into a league right now that is applicable to this. The league called for owners to pick one season and build their entire team using players from that season. Five teams chose teams in what I'd call the deadball era (1920 or before, understanding there's no perfect cutoff). Here are their current number of HRs allowed and position in their division (they are all 1-5, with 6th place having given up 117):

1908 (49, 2nd to 1920)
1909 (53, 1st)
1912 (40, tied for 1st)
1919 (19, 1st)
1920 (54, 1st)

1919 holds the best overall record in either league. 1920 has the second best.

That's great insight and will definitely be something I factor in should this concept work well enough to turn into a progressive league. For this current league, my hope is that the split divisions mitigate most of the advantages given to dead ball pitchers, as at most two dead ball teams will make the playoffs. If this becomes popular enough to turn into a progressive, I would love your help and insights as I craft the rules, but we will cross that bridge when we get to it.

Yes, that is fine. Just as long as everyone specifies the exact 10-year period they are using.

Yep, marking you down for a 70s team. We now have 10 in, only 14 to go.

Working on a mid 60s to mid 70s team. Should be done by tomorrow.

Hello. I drafted my team from 1965 to 1974, but it says that my roster does not meet the 10 year time frame. Is there a way to get that fixed in the parameters you set up? When I messaged you before I thought it was possible to draft across 2 decades.
