I should’ve mentioned, but the positional versatility of those guys isn’t ideal. Kanter can’t guard SF and Wilt can’t guard PF. I value switch-ability a good bit in my defensive projections.

3) kammeyer - Nikola Jokic, Andre Drummond, Nikola Vucevic, Jayson Tatum, Otto Porter, Jalen Brunson, Christian Braun

Kam is running a wild no-defense gambit that seems to be out of the K123 playbook. I respect it. Jokic is definitely the guy you want to build an "EFG% is king" team around, and this cast should be solid on rebounding and limiting turnovers.

Unfortunately, I'm skeptical this will work. From my observations you need a huge surplus of assists and even more EFG% than this to make the strategy pop. Coupling that with non-existent defense, I expect this team to disappoint.

Prediction: Miss playoffs

Curious, now that teams have all been submitted (expect 1 owner ), do u evaluate , taking into consideration the remaining 5 players drafted ?

Sorry these are getting done so slowly, I have been busier than expected.

oddson - My opinion is mostly based on the drafted players, but I do consider the whole team and their minutes played.

Kam - No problem! It’s a fun team and I hope you prove me wrong.

4) cem6989 - Stephen Curry, Oscar Robertson, Robert Parish, Serge Ibaka, Jakob Poeltl, Dwight Powell, Gary Payton II

Curry plus Big O is a nice start, elite offense and serviceable perimeter D with most of your assists covered. Parish felt like a reach, but Ibaka and Poeltl were good value so it worked out well. Snatching GP2 at the end of the draft was excellent.

The pieces fit well and you have a winning combo of efficiency and great defenders, but your undrafted player choices may hold you back. Almost 2000 fouls is really going to hurt in this league, almost every foul-heavy team I've built has underperformed. This team will also likely struggle in the possession battle with average rebounding and a lot of turnovers. Plenty to like here, but also missed potential.

Prediction: Fringe playoffs

5) jcred5 - Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nic Claxton, Jrue Holiday, Marcus Camby, Zach LaVine, Amare Stoudemire, TJ McConnell

I expect a great team from JC more often than not, so him starting with Giannis is scary. I would have made almost all of these picks myself, the fit is very good. Giannis and Jrue do a decent job of hiding LaVine on defense and Claxton / Camby in the frontcourt fill several needs. I probably would've passed on Amar'e here though, seems like overspending for his usage.

I notice some problems when looking at your roster. I expected this team to be better on rebounding than they seem to be, and there are too many turnovers. Your efficient scoring should be able to make up for some of that, and the defense looks stout. I am confident this is a good team, but I'm not sure how good.

Prediction: Make playoffs

6) chewy3344 - Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Artis Gilmore, Bill Walton, Shawn Marion, Brandon Clarke, Tyreke Evans, Jarred Vanderbilt

Another elite owner getting a stud in the draft. Chewy loves to have an edge on rebounding, and that was definitely a focus of this draft. Having this many great rebounders and defenders around Shai seems like a recipe for success, but I wish he would've invested in more playmaking. Clarke in the 5th is a nice value pick.

This roster is well-constructed to win the possession battle, and has a high offensive upside thanks to Shai and efficient shooting from Gilmore and Clarke. While the low assists and threes are notable concerns, I don't expect them to prevent this team from excelling.

Prediction: Make finals

Writing these takes me too long lol, but I don’t want to abandon this. In the next few days I am going to try and knock them all out in an audio format, that should be a little more detailed too
