After being the unluckiest in last year's WISC, I'm once again near the top.

I am going to wait to update the standings spreadsheet until most of the first round of the playoffs are completed. I need to add a section for playoff results, and that will take a little time (because the format is messy) and I want to get some data in before I complete this.

What are the playoff point calculations? What are the bonus points reward for 1rst round series win, LCS win and WS win?

One point per playoff win.

Two points for making the playoffs and for LDS and LCS wins.

Five points for WS win.

I hope to get the new standings page updated before this evening's run. Thanks for your patience.

I remember from when I did it that having to update the playoff points when there are this many leagues going at once is always super tedious. Takes way more time than the regular season updates and there aren't really shortcuts. Super manual.

Yep, having some issues getting the automation to work. Going to try to finish tomorrow. Sorry for the delay. (I may end up doing it manually - might be faster).

I updated the standings to include playoff results. It's a completely manual process, so I won't be updating after every session. Hopefully, at least once per day.

Agreed....thank you for the work you put in to help make the tourney successful. The same goes for everyone involved in all aspects of running the WISC.

Thank you Schwarze - I greatly appreciate the above and beyond effort with the extra details around max points. I know it is a huge help for the bubble teams.

By my calculations, as of Thursday 8/28 a.m., the current top 24 (all with 527+ pts) have clinched a spot into round 2 (since contrarian23 has opted out).

The 25th entry will be one of:

buddhagamer (522 pts) is done at 522
MDJSupporter (519) can max at 534
bheid408 (511) can max at 526
chargingryno (509) can max at 524
magicdreamer (514) can max at 523

If anybody else opts out, then more than one of the above can advance.

Since every league is currently just starting the World Series or just starting the LCS (i.e., all series are 0-0), the the next standings update will be in a few days as the series all wrap up.

Updated standings. Four World Series left to be completed. The top 24 have been determined. Waiting on everybody to confirm.
