yep. as expected. looks compliant at first glance but yeah, that's the kind of team I would gladly accept as a challenge. I was a little more vanilla with my first team but might go for the jugular on my second one!

Yeah I think my team absolutely sucks... but then looking again... maybe I left it too strong. Can't wait to see all these rosters

oh yeah. it sucks. We'll see but nice effort.

Will try this league out. Hopefully, I draft badly.

There are a few theories to these leagues. Inevitably you have to include some talent on the team. Or at least some guys who do some things well. I think the key is deciding where and how much. For example, good defense costs money, if you choose to go that route. A pitcher who hits well costs a little more, too.

well, you are $866k over the minimum so it can't have been that hard. Some pretty bad guys on this team though. Congrats.

ha, looking at current rosters, this is going to be fun. There are enough different strategies. Who knows what it is gonna take to win the league? Easier to overcome bad pitching? slap hitting? strikeouts? poor defense? some other devious strategy....? And if you win a Screw Your Neighbor league, should you brag? how much luck versus skill is involved? Questions to be answered in good time. Come and join!

I built six very distinct teams for this before deciding on the one I entered. I sent a screenshot of each, along with my thought process behind them, to my brother and asked which one he’d least like to be assigned to. Good news, he thought they’d all be horrible to try to manage. The one I entered is not the singular one he picked though. That was the one I felt was the most difficult to work around the shortcomings with.

I did another round of recruiting today, reaching out to some low cap regulars. Good movement on this league so far in only a few days. Looking forward to competing and having a laugh.
