Congrats disco on a great tourney! Thanks to all who help put this together and ozo for adding the extra prize money. Had a fantastic round 1 and was a punching bag in round 2, but always fun to be challenged and play against the best baseball minds out there. See you all next season!

I'm a bit late here (been mostly off the site for the last few weeks — amazed to discover I won a Round 2 WS and finished in the top 10, pretty lucky) but wanted to give a huge congrats to disco! No one on the site has deserved a title more over the years without winning one. Hope you popped some champagne, man!

I took a couple years off but would be eager to re-join the WIS Championship. All these congratulations suggest one just ended but when roughly do you expect next year's tourney?

It used to be funny for me, the WISC. My wife was a teacher so I used to participate in this tourney while in some far-flung summer travel destinations. Was always a challenge to remember exactly when the games were taking place.

Anyway, I'll keep my eyes peeled for info.

When I used to run this, I typically posted the initial ad in the classifieds at the beginning of June, with the final deadline for all teams being entered by mid-to-late July. Over the past few years, we've started 2-4 weeks earlier than that. I would start looking at the classifieds in early May.

I've already started drafting themes! Bring on 2026!
