As we pass the halfway mark of Season 2, the top 3 remain unchanged, though they do keep rotating the #1 spot among themselves.

MJDSupporter, after a 6-0 PM session, has retaken the top slot. Amazingly, he still has one team ($110m) with single-digit losses, at 32-9!

doctorcc continues to destroy the competition in S2, with a .667 winning % to this point.

All of the top 10 are already 30+ games above .500 in the overall. The next 10 are at least 20 over. And the cage cutoff presently sits at 132-114, with a 4-way tie holding that distinction.

Though we're still in the early stages, fatigue is already starting to have an effect. There's still plenty of time to make a move up the leaderboard!

My teams seem to be coming back to earth over the last few sessions, especially the $125m team which has followed an 8-1 run with an L5. Ah well, fun while it lasted.

More than a quarter of the way through the season, and my teams are 8 games below .500 collectively. To quote Robert Zimmerman: it's not dark yet, but it's getting there.

At the 3/4th point of S2, sford continues his torrid sprint up the standings, going 79-41 thus far, compared to an 81-81 S1.

doctorcc remains white-hot as well, at 75-45 to this point.

duhbigcat has busted into the top 3 of late. slightly downrange, jtpsops has made a move and now stands T12.

There's a 3-way tie at the cage cut-off, at 20 games over .500 (seems the field is constricting a bit in the middle right now). bbarrett, bbondsmvp, and dvorr80 currently occupy that space.

The PM2 session brought the end of the 2nd 162. Recognition to the following:
  • jmissirlis stands 3 games clear of the nearest competitor at the top of the field.
  • All of the top 5 (duhbigcat, MJDSupporter, redcped, hebdomad) have shown remarkable consistency, with 90+ wins in both S1 and S2.
  • sford and doctorcc enjoyed 104 and 100 wins, respectively, in S2, leaving them tied for 6th overall.
  • emanes, jfranco77, and scjensen51 round out the top 10.
  • other top movers include:
    • _JJP_, with 97 S2 wins to move up to T15.
    • snuffy45 with a 93-69 record, and beauchamp, pumped, and bbondsmvp at 91-71.
    • PirateSteve improved by 17 wins, S2 over S1.
On the flip side, gworear and newarkwilder join me in falling from grace. gworear went 81-81, though, and retains a spot in the top 20. thejuice6 suffered the most, however, going from 90 wins in S1 to only 68 in S2. Tomorrow is a new day, guys!

I may try to add some further analysis of results to date. If you have particular areas of interest, let me know, and we'll try to incorporate those as we roll into S3.

I appreciate the good work! Some of the things that i would be interested in are analytics. Such as:

What were the most common franchises selected for 70M?
Average number of HRs and HR/9 drafted per team in 80M and how that correlates to wins
Most common teams selected for 100M. And most/least/average number of twists in a row.
For 110M, most common teams selected per era
125M most commonly selected players
140M most commonly selected players by letter

It's a big ask and I'm not expecting you or anyone to do it. But you asked....

With the exception of my very good 70M Cardinals team, my teams SUCK. My advice is don't go on a month long trip through Europe when most other owners were putting in the time and research to build good teams. At least my wife and I had a really nice time on our trip. Congrats to the owners in the top 10 who are kicking *** this year.

I would gladly take the monthlong trip to Europe and less success in the WISC. Sounds lovely

Standings have been rolled forward to note the start of Season 3 (S3).

Spreadsheet is not updating. It shows recently updated but the win totals are from 24 hrs ago

If the time stamp hasn't been changed from a formula to a value, then it will show whatever the current time is when you open the file.

As we pass the halfway point of Season 3, . . .
  • hebdomad has surged into the top and is sprinting away from the field!
    • He incredibly has all 6 of his teams currently slated for postseason play.
    • He has won an astounding 61 of 84 games thus far in this session.
  • toysboys is playing at a .667 pace to this point in S3, which has pushed him to T8.
  • Bansberg, DCNats4000, and odalisgagne are also very hot, all having positioned themselves within the cage.
