Kicking myself for not even looking at a Lajoie team for the $140M. That offense is just too good. Seems likely to end up as the right/best pick.

Curious to see a breakdown on what pick turns out to be best. There’s so much variety. I’m loving my Kershaw team. They’re my best team by far at this point. Speaker teams are all over the place but seem to have a lot of mixed results

The 6 Nap teams sure do have crazily varying results. At 41-11, the best team in any of the 140M leagues, by far, is a Nap team. On the other hand, so is the worst-performing one (13-39).

my nap team is 2-8 in its last 10, the 2 wins? over the 41-11 nap team lol. ah this game.

I got scared off by the pitching for the Nap and Speaker teams. Not that the options sucked, but I could see some of them getting shelled when facing a ton of deadball hitters. I'd imagine the best Nap and Speaker teams are sharing divisions/leagues with a higher percentage of modern teams.

There are only 3 Speaker teams in 6-C, and not faring as well: 30-25, 29-26, and 24-31.

The Kershaws are ruling the roost.

Got my first schwarze of the tournament today. Needed four 1-run wins to do it.

Not to outdo you. But I also just got my first schwarze of the tourney. And did it with six 1-run wins.

That’s overachieving right there. Should be a term for that.

The Curse of the Big First Inning

Is it just me, or is it the kiss of death to put up 3+ runs in the first inning? I swear my record is sub-.500 when scoring 3 or more in the first (unless the other team also puts up a crooked number in the 1st). It's like the sim places a governor on the offense of the team that goes up 3/4-0 and you're not allowed to score any more runs the rest of the game. Makes ZERO sense.

Currently hebdomad, discodemo, and I are all tied for 2nd place and each of us has 5 playoff teams.

All 3 of our total non-playoff teams are because we're beating each other in divisions more than one of us are in.
