Can’t say I’ve seen that before.

i don’t know if this is a bug or a blip or a what.

It was a wacky situation where I had:

no available OF’ers, they were all below their auto rest arrest setting

no available position players, again below the auto rest setting

and

no one in the batting lineup scheduled to start in LF, I sent the guy down to the minors

so Sparky chose John Tudor.

i don’t know if it chose him because he was the pitcher with the most PA, highest batting average or he was the #1 starter

anyone see this before?

Yeah, a couple times. I imagine the situation was similar to yours above.

I've also seen Mickey Cochrane used as a pitcher in a 1925 prog (not by me, but another owner). Cochrane appeared in 11 games, pitching 9.1 innings and giving up 7 ER for a 6.75 ERA. Real life Cochrane had no appearances as a pitcher in his career.
