All great ideas. I would like to add one more. Make draftable players available in FA, as long as they do not wish to return to college. I know it happens for 22-year-olds but players of other ages would go to the minors, if not drafted.

One problem that there often is a shortage of MiLB player at the end of FA. Reduce the retirement of younger MILB players.

I try to have about 30 guys at each MiLB level. 15 pitchers makes it easy to take relief pitchers off the Active list if they won’t be able to pitch for a couple of days.

Put a minimum 90% health to play. If a player gets there he becomes inactive and you pay a salary penalty. Make it an increasing amount for each time.
