My starting lineup vs LHP had Vic Davalillo '65 (L) playing CF. He was 99%, rest set at 98%.
Sparky instead starts PH Jorge Soler at 98%, who ends at 67%.
Although my setting allows rest, I don't understand this choice in game 16 where everyone is rested.
If I turn off "allow rest" for my starting lineup, will that override defensive replacement, PH and PR, or just replacement of starting lineup to begin a game?
Ideally my starters would start unless below their auto rest %, but perhaps turning off "allow rest" would force them to start.
No sour grapes (I won the game) but I am trying to better understand Sparky's decision and questioning if my understanding of the advanced settings is correct.

Was Davalillo at 99% before the game or is that the number you saw after the game?

99 after the prior game. 100 every other game before or after.
