Hi all, I've had to make a couple of clarifications. First, you must have 10 primary infielders. that means 2 players at each infield position, not 2 players who can play all the infield positions. Second, it's ok to have a guy who plays DH so long as he has a primary position as a fielder somewhere. So far, that has only come up once with two players, one who played 47 games in an OF (so he counts as an OF for this league) and one DH/1B. The idea is not to have a team full of DHs which would make teams unplayable. We want bad teams, not completely unplayable ones. Those rules have been updated.

Ok, after some consulting, I am clarifying that PRIMARY position means the position that comes up in a search for a player before the "include secondary positions" option is checked. That means that a guy can have played DH but they are only eligible if their PRIMARY position is a field position. I will be enforcing this for fairness.
Even with this tweak, there are some great roster constructions that will allow for bad but playable teams. Everyone should have a chance with some creative managing.

Got my team in. Curious to see how many others used a similar strategy.

I think you did a terrible job...which in this league is great! it looks like your team is in compliance. The key to this for anyone who wants to join is that you are going to get a terrible team. No matter how terrible though, I believe that because of the rules, each team has strengths that allow them to compete. We want owners who are up to the challenge of finding lineups and rotations that work, not ones that will receive their team and give up. The core owners in this league are regular low cappers who are stand up guys (that I still look forward to messing with!).

can't wait to see who makes the All Star teams from this league, who wins the Cy Young, MVP, etc.
