Complete collapse confirmed. Both bubble teams (with Exp win% > .600) missed the playoffs, including my $140 team - with the best exp win% in the entire league. How many times has that ever happened? In the sim or in real life (during the wildcard era)?

I can't wait until my 107-win Bonds team gets swept by the 85-win team in the best of 5 series. If I don't finish in the top 24, I will not be participating in round 2. I will not accept charity from a top 24 owner bowing out.

I'd like to think that 85 win team ain't no slouch. But if a sweep happens, tbe 85 win team will be on the wrong side of it

I’m matched up with an 83-win team that went 9-3 vs me this year. So that should be fine.

4-1 in my playoff openers with one starting tomorrow. Only loss came when Omar Vizquel singled and stole second, third and home in succession for a walk off in the 120m league.

Of the 4 series I have underway, 3 have ended in sweeps, 2 of which I lost. Another series starts today, and the 100M league still hasn't finished sorting out that crazy three-way tie that is noted above.

100-win team loses to 83-win team - tale as old as time.

I was 96-49 vs everyone else, but only 4-13 vs that team, including playoffs. Brutal.

phew, my braves team finally put me out of my misery...2 regular season losses and 2 play in game losses to finish when 1 win puts me in. combine that with 2 of my 3 actual playoff teams annihilated quickly and weve had a great time lol

Well we’ve won 3 series, got handled in another, blew a 2-0 edge and a 4-run 9th-inning lead in a potential clincher in another, and started 0-2 in another.

So 3-2 so far and one needing some fortune.

In league 6-C Jtpsops's Kershaw squad just knocked off discodemo's Speakers and now has the opportunity to knock out my Collins crew too, potentially culminating in a WS win against emanes10's Lajoie juggernaut (assuming he also wins his LCS). Would be quite a path to carve on his way to firming up a Round 2 slot.

I took a chance and benched Greinke for my series vs Speaker and it paid off. I will have to consider a similar approach vs Collins.

We won both games vs Lajoie in the regular season…if that’s means anything.

Did my 102 win team lose in the first round of the playoffs? Do you even have to ask?

My '68-70 Orioles went 51-30 in the first half and 38-43 in the second half, including a 6-game losing streak to end the season (four vs the last place team).

So of course, we beat discodemo's 100-win '42-44 Yanks in a best of 5 series.

Sorry discodemo. I've been on the other end many times, so I know how it feels.

It probably goes without saying that my 100-win team lost and my worst team won in a sweep.

Schwarze, I suspected we might lose that series. Tough to beat the Orioles' pitching in a short series. Spud Chandler was really my only stud pitcher and he lost both starts. Also, I think the difference between a 100 win team and an 89 win team (which underachieved its expected wins significantly) in a short series is miniscule.
