If this Theme gets off the ground, I plan on running it 3 times. Each time it will use a different Salary cap which should change some of the players involved. This first iteration will use $140M as the Cap. 2nd time will be $110M. 3rd time will be $80. You don't have to play in all 3.
To start, we will have a 4 round draft.
Random order for round 1. The last 3 rounds will be based on cumulative Salary of your drafted players after each round. Lowest First/Highest Last.
Everyone must draft 1 Infielder, 1 Outfielder, 1 Starting Pitcher (SP), 1 Relief Pitcher (RP).
You must use their primary position. Example:2011 Jose Bautista cannot be drafted as an Infielder. He can play as an Infielder, but he would have to be drafted as an Outfielder.
Players are exclusive for the draft so only 1 instance of each player can be picked. You will post the Season, Salary and Position of each player at the time of your pick.
After the Draft is complete, you will finish building your roster using other versions of everyone elses 4 players. Those other versions are available to everyone. Clones are not allowed, so you cannot use other versions of your own 4 players, and you can only use 1 version of anyone elses players.
We will only use the 6 Ballparks with a Park Factor of 1.00. (Nationals Park, Three Rivers Stadium, Great American Ballpark, Philadelphia BaseBall Grounds, WIS, Olympic Stadium).
In the event that nobody selects a Catcher as an Infielder in the draft, I will nominate a catcher and any version of him can be used.
