The Jubilee Progressive is based off of ancient biblical times when every 7 years, debts would be forgiven and slaves set free. In our league, every 7 season, all players revert to their actual real-life franchise. In between those seasons, you get to draft and trade to improve your franchise. This helps keep our franchises at least resembling their real-life counterparts, forgives the sins of those who have drafted/traded poorly, and keeps those who have drafted/traded well from building unstoppable juggernauts. 20 teams, DH in AL only.
The draft order is determined by upon the reverse order of the teams' real-life records, so there is no incentive for tanking, and teams whose players had down years in real-life are more likely to get better draft picks in our league.
We're in the middle of the 1995 draft, which is a third year of the jubilee cycle. The owner of the Rangers has been MIA for several days now, so I'm looking for a replacement. You can jump in and immediately continue the draft if you accept the team. The roster is below.
